Managing my lifetime illness
Having a lifetime illness isn't easy, some days can be really hard and it can put you into a dark place. The idea of having to change your whole life can be daunting and push you into overthinking and anxiety. Adjusting my day to day routine has been a process that has taken time and still many years into my diagnosis I am still making changes everyday to improve my way of living.
Making changes in the beginning can be the most difficult part because, as a person you have your own ways. If you like a bottle of wine on a night or you have a job that involves a lot of hours in shift patterns this can affect certain illnesses massively.
Reminder!
Always look after yourself and don't take anything for granted as any day this can be taken away from you.

6 Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. 7 Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. (Isaiah 55:6-7 NIV)

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑
Second Sunday of Lent
Gospel Mt 17:1-9
Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother,
and led them up a high mountain by themselves.
And he was transfigured before them;
his face shone like the sun
and his clothes became white as light.
And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them,
conversing with him.
Then Peter said to Jesus in reply,
"Lord, it is good that we are here.
If you wish, I will make three tents here,
one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah."
While he was still speaking, behold,
a bright cloud cast a shadow over them,
then from the cloud came a voice that said,
"This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased;
listen to him."
When the disciples heard this, they fell prostrate
and were very much afraid.
But Jesus came and touched them, saying,
"Rise, and do not be afraid."
And when the disciples raised their eyes,
they saw no one else but Jesus alone.
As they were coming down from the mountain,
Jesus charged them,
"Do not tell the vision to anyone
until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead."

It’s such a shame that the first post has to be this… however, it’s a massive reminder that you can beat the bully unintentionally with kindness.
When you have to walk away from a toxic friendship I never thought I would be stalked and threatened.
Missed calls, messages with demands and slandered all over social media. This is a constant battle daily with these individuals. I know this post is more of an indirect post towards these people.
Sometimes people need to vent their emotions and this platform is my support line when I feel like breaking.
I will not give up and I will carry on looking after myself and building a great future with good support.
