Okay but this is the first time someone has called Yurio something “masculine”/”strong” and it clearly means a lot to him. People usually use terms like fairy or princess when describing him (JJ even goes as far as calling him a girl and Lilia uses prima ballerina which is a female only term). Throughout the show, Yurio struggles a lot with people calling him “feminine” terms and is constantly trying to push his bad boy image in an attempt to make himself seem more tough/manly. To have Otabek read him “correctly” so to speak obviously makes him visibly happy and I think this is one of the reasons he’s so quick to accept the friendship invitation.

So wait, if YUURI was the playboy this entire time in the Eros act, and Victor probably created the program loosely based on their experience at the banquet together, doesn’t that mean every time Victor watches Yuuri do his SP, he’s watching the visual representation of the night they first met and when he fell for him? And not only that, a lot of us agree that Yuuri’s freeskate isn’t only about Yuuri’s career but also about his and Victor’s relationship together. So, Eros SP is about the first night they met. And Yuri on Ice FS is about their relationship thus far after the fact. Not to mention the theme for Yuuri’s season is love. It’s literally retelling their love story, guys. In the language they both know well, made careers out of and are passionate for. Like Oh gosh. That’s so beautiful.
