     Or that. That was also a reason to expect, and it was the reason she wasn’t hoping to hear. No one liked basically hearing they weren’t good enough. “Well, it’s been a while. I’ll make sure not to mess that up again.”

We can ship Raven with anyone we want. But the truth is (at least in the tv series) that she has never looked at someone the way she did with Malchior/Rorek whatever his name is. And that’s what this drawing is about. I just wanted to draw those eyes filled with love, that we can almost never see in her.

Hiatus

Alright, so I hate to do this, because I really love to play Malchior, but I'm putting this blog on a hiatus. I have too many other muses to have time for him anymore. This hiatus definitely won't be permanent, because I love playing Malchior. If you want to, go bug me on my Slade or Argent blog.

Do you even know how surprised I am that I already have sixty one followers? Very. I hardly role played on Malchior yet! Guys, come bug me if you wanna plot or something because my Malchior muse gets bored easily.

Malchior knew it was time. He may not get another opportunity, another time when she was this vulnerable. Though something kept him from speaking up quickly. That tug of guilt that he knew too well.

I need to get out.

Finally, he felt his mouth open, voice expelling from the book with a great effort that he was so used to. ❝ You aren't. ❞

He could hardly believe that he was stooping so low as to trick another girl. Actually, he could believe it. He just wished he didn't do it so often. He waited for the moment when she would finally address him directly as a being and not a book.

Casting one last look behind her, all the venom had left her after forcing Cyborg and Beast Boy to leave. So what if she hadn’t wanted to play their stupid Stankball game with them? All it was was throwing dirty laundry around… as if that was a good use of her time. It wasn’t her fault that she’d rather stay in her room - no right-minded person would relish that kind of game… right?

"I just wish there was someone around who was more like me… who understood me."

Her room - her darkened sanctuary, her protection against the cruel outside world that didn’t understand. That didn’t have to. Maybe she was creepy, like the green changeling had said. Maybe that was what her team always thought, even if they didn’t voice it. Casting a mournful glance around her gothic decor, Raven crossed the room, finger gripping the corners of her tome for comfort. It wasn’t long before she reached her bed, feeling like her knees could no longer support her as the dark tendrils of her emotions brought her down onto her mattress.

The girl's reaction was nothing new to him, he supposed. Blinking, he uncrossed his arms and let them hang limply at his side. ❝ Are you alright? ❞ He asked carefully. ❝ You seem quite fidgety. ❞

"Hey! I’m walking here!"

His eyes widened as he stepped aside, obviously so lost in thought that he had walked into the girl. ❝ Ah, many apologies, miss, ❞ he spoke politely, crossing his paper arms over his chest.
