Why do mfs get so mad about Mary Sue ocs like is it your au, is it your verse??? Is it your oc??? No dumbass it isn't How does somebody's oc who is, first of all, NOT canon. And Second of all, NOT EVEN AFFECTING YOUR WRITING PROJECTS, bother you so much that you harass someone over it??? Usually a literal 10 year old??? On top of this, the biggest reason people hate them so much is because they're... overpowered??? Ok? So? Why are people mad that someone else's character is stronger than the canon, or god forbid stronger than THEIR also-not-canon oc??? Like... Can y'all not take L's or something?? If princess moonstar sparkle ratio'd the shit out of my oc, I'd be like "good game!" and go on with my day. (Even if your ocs do interact you do NOT have to make it canon in your oc lore, even if it IS canon in princess moonstar sparkle's.) What if Knighton really could be like Easter, what would it be?

Like a real Easter is a religious holiday, one who is close to the gods in a way it is wizards.

And just imagine:

The most important answer to everything: Merlock is to blame for everything .

And now, on a point:

Only wizards can make such a big leap. And the only one who can give it to the people is Merlock.

Most likely after defeating Monstrox ( and most likely over all the advice for they are all dead lols) Merlock and decided to give everything to the people allegedly helping after the war.

But in fact, this way Merlock simply got rid of the remnants of the magical advice to live among humans. ( What in you will arouse the wrath of dead wizards)

And so, by giving everything away, the order of development was broken. People got everything, and they bailed on everything else. In the first place, it killed the magical ecosystem, no more wild magic, magical plants and animals just died or escaped the world.

But it is also connected and just an ecological cat from too rapid development that has already finished nature and animals ( from books from Macy you can learn that in the kingdom there is only one horse left in the reserve of last animals)

This Merlock is why people have been racing, but it’s also killing the world.

Now, about monsters and robots:

The thing is, they’re all human.

Mostly monsters, and smarter robots are also people who have chosen to convert themselves into machines to continue their lives.

The monsters we see are also people:

Lava People - People Who Did Wrong and Were Punished by Magicians and Turned into Monsters

Water and forest - people that seem to have been turned by the necromancer personally.

That’s how we end up with a dying world, people who don’t want to do anything ( except Macy who cares), in the shell of the futuristic world...

okay so like what are y'alls ideas/hcs for why knighton is to advanced in tech but not socially?

I mean, king halbert is considered different for not marring a nobel or other royal when like Hama's cousin is a mayor of a town meaning that like her family wasn't really a "commoner" or "peasant" because they probably had some poltical power or general influnce if one of their daughters was able to become a mayor despite knightons slightly sexist beliefs.

I think they probably just had some tech descovery through magic like 5 generations ago which eventually got to the point it was able to support itself without magic.

but like monsters havent been seen in only 100 years which is like 2 generations which is too short of a time for most of the wizards to die and for tech to advance that fast. and we know tech didn't exist when merlok was out here fighting monstrox because he litterly says a line about how in his time they didn't have all these fancy velchies, only magic and knights.

so like when did this all happen????

Yes I know Lance has a canon pet, but it really doesn’t suit him. I mean PERSONALLY he seems way more like a cat person (more specifically a fluffy white cat, even more specifically a maine coon)

Macy would own a horse, idk.. he just seems like a horse owner (bonus points is that they SUCK at horse riding, a complete failure.. major boyfail)

Axl owns something small, I don’t exactly know what he would own, but something like that.

Aaron owns a fox he picked up from outside and unofficially adopted, it’s just kinda there and it has a name and everything.

Clay owns a fuckass hedgehog. /j

Nah I’m messing, Clay owns a small dog that has a 99% chance of actually belonging to Macy, and he’s actually terrified of dogs. He’s more of a cat person, and actually owns a small cat that he holds when he’s talking to people.

Honestly sometimes I like to remember the knights are no older then like.. 18-19 or something like that, and yet had no actual episodes where they just cooled down and relaxed. (Knight out doesn’t count, Clay was bullied)

They needed a filler episode or two so badly to tie in with all the main story episodes we got.
