Aside from "Untitled Profile", you might remember me by my older usernames like “bodydecay” and “fetus_fatale”. When I began posting Amnesty era Crystal Castles edits on my page after years of not doing so, I mentioned that I couldn’t continue being guilt-tripped and brainwashed by people about what I can or can't support anymore, the people I was referring to were Alice Glass & Jupiter Keyes. Getting in close contact with them all started back in fall 2016 when I first made an Instagram account, I’d post myself and random stuff which at times included edits of Crystal Castles members (Edith Frances, Alice Glass & Ethan Kath) that I made, Alice acknowledged some of these edits and would compliment them but didn't like that I would create edits of Edith.

Because Alice disliked edits of herself being posted alongside edits of Edith, I created an Edith fan-page titled "edithpractice" to seperate them. I eventually told Alice that I moved my Edith edits to a different page to seperate the Crystal Castles eras from each-other but she was offended by this decision and said that I should consider running an Alice Glass page instead, so by Alice's suggestion I created an Alice Glass fan-page by the username of “fetus_fatale”. I continued to post edits of the band leading up to May 2017 until the edits of Amnesty era Crystal Castles caught Alice’s attention which led to her aggressively messaging me to stop showing support for them, implying that I support p*dophiles while trying to villainize me for being a fan of Edith because Alice believed Edith was an “impersonator”. I would voice my opinions about Edith’s individuality to Alice so that I could try to open her mind to having compassion for Edith, but I was only met with repeated statements of Edith being an impersonator. As Alice used her emotions to manipulate my sense of empathy, I was put into a dilemma about who and what I could support without hurting others. I expressed that I felt very singled out because she was coming at me like this and that it was negatively impacting my mental health, she wished me the best but continued messaging me anti-Edith messages even after I asked her to stop. I felt so conflicted to delete my Crystal Castles page so I renamed it to "femenchoir" while I thought things through but ended up deleting it shortly after Crystal Castles had resposted my edit on their official page - sadly this triggered me to delete everything in support of them as Alice had ruined this special moment for me since I was made to feel horrible for supporting Crystal Castles without her in it.

(all usernames mentioned have been deleted and/or have been stolen by other people, I do not go by any older username mentioned in this story anymore). Here's an estimated timeline:

At this point there was a lot of drama going on in the fandom and I originally was a neutral fan trying to ease the drama in the fandom but eventually my opinions about Ethan & Edith became twisted from what Alice would tell me but also by the speculations posted by the Tumblr user crystalfakecastles. Alice would tell me stories about Ethan with I'm guessing, the intention to instill fear into me, this must’ve been due to sensing that it was easy to manipulate where I stood at the time since I was in a complete starstruck state while speaking to her.

Back in November 2016 I was making YouTube edits of Crystal Castles under the name “bodydecay” and posting them to the crystalcastles.com forum, I got messages from the forum moderator Andy Lee asking me to delete certain videos which led me to negatively post about the situation on Tumblr due to feeling angry but shortly after I deleted the post because I felt it was getting blown out of proportion by people spreading the post and anonymously messaging me to go further with "exposing Ethan" (there was rumours floating around at the time that Andy Lee was Ethan), that's around the time when crystalfakecastles initiated a conversation with me about Ethan with a list of stories about how he was abusive to Alice (stories that were not even made public..).

Around the same time Alice became aggressive about supporting Crystal Castles to me in May 2017, I began talking to the owner of the crystalfakecastles Tumblr more often. Eventually our conversations led me to uncover that the owner of crystalfakecastles was a super-fan that had close contact with Alice & Jupiter [Let’s call him William] and that a major source of his information came from an in-real-life friend of Alice & Jupiter’s at the time (who would eventually become heavily involved in running crystalfakecastles with William) [Let’s call her Amanda]. There was multiple other accounts made by them like “exposingethankath” and literally all of the Edith hate blogs. Everything crystalfakecastles (and similar accounts) has ever posted was information told to them directly by Jupiter or Alice and any other misinformation that crystalfakecastles put together themselves was praised by Alice & Jupiter, Alice would express her gratitude for this page through written messages but also through gifts (like videos of recording sessions in the studio) that she would send to the owner of the page.

Prior to crystalfakecastles, someone named Ari would promote an anti-Ethan movement across social media platforms, helping to spread false information about Ethan at Alice & Jupiter's request. When speaking about her situation with them, she revealed a similar experience as to what I went through:

I was told a ton of misleading information by Amanda and William, Amanda repeated the stories that were told to her back to me. It broke my mind to continue hearing repeated stories of abuse paired with being told that it would help to post negative things about Crystal Castles, specifically Edith, in support of Alice. I was asked to help operate crystalfakecastles multiple times but I denied every request because even though I believed everything they told me at the time, it seriously felt wrong that there seemed to be a team that received all of their information from Alice and Jupiter made to harass Ethan and Edith online to such extreme levels.

[At this point we mainly spoke through my fetus_fatale account but also at times on my personal page so it was back & forth between those 2 accounts so unfortunately I’m unable to attach screenshots that would involve the fetus_fatale account as it has been deleted for years now.]

So October 2017 comes & Alice publishes her statement against Ethan. Alice tells me to read up on it and once I did, she began going into more detail about the abusive situations mentioned in her statement, this was very inappropriate due to the fact that she was sharing undisclosed information about her and Ethan’s relationship to a starstruck fan with the intention to confuse them so that they would spread misinformation, this is clearly manipulative as it forced me to pick a side without hearing Ethan's side of the story. I opened up to Alice about how I related to her experiences but I believe that giving them this information about myself and the fact that I wanted to advocate for other victims of abuse only allowed for me to be manipulated further as at the time I felt a sense of justice in helping her feel heard.

Around this time there was a ton of fan-pages promoting Alice's narrative and because I had a large following I briefly surrendered my passwords to help spread Alice's statement further but this allowed for content to be posted on my behalf that I didn't fully agree with and the message that was being put out got twisted & out of control, mostly due to ignorance about the law (many of us lacked legal knowledge and were directly told that Alice had "won in court", along with other false claims, leading us to believe that Ethan would soon be convicted of his alleged crimes but in reality, the investigation never progressed beyond the police attempting to gather evidence to determine whether a crime had even occurred) so please do not reflect on or source anything I've shared from that time as none of it has been proven factual nor is it what I and many others stand by today, back then I was under the impression that the reality was that: I was being told the full truth by them and that Alice was in constant danger and needed, especially my, help to clear 'misinformation about her'.

As the drama in the fandom worsened, it led to me and some friends, that I met in the Crystal Castles community named Rhi & Leo, being falsely accused as being the owners of the crystalfakecastles Tumblr with attempts of people trying to dox our private information. I was led to believe that the online harassment towards us was being done by Ethan and his “bot accounts”, as Jupiter & Alice refer to it, this only led me deeper into Alice & Jupiter’s manipulation and made me even more fearful of Ethan. Here's an example of how they're convinced everyone on the internet that opposes them is Ethan:

Something I became suspicious of was that Alice would constantly message me about pro-Ethan accounts leaving negative comments about her, at times I'd be directed to the post with the expectation that I would go and fight with Ethan's supporters in her defense. These expectations became exhausting because really the only thing it could lead to was more drama but it was subconsciously put into my head that by not advocating for Alice - I was complicit in her allegations, and abuse in general, not being taken seriously.

The reason I became suspicious of their encouragement to keep engaging in the drama months & years after her statement was put out is because Jupiter and Alice both have undercover accounts on various platforms that they use to spread misinformation (and to this day are still doing so, specifically on Reddit) to keep the drama circulating, so I eventually had the thought that there might be a possibility of them also framing Ethan’s side as ‘evil’ by using undercover accounts posing as Ethan supporters because at times the content posted by these hate-blogs was so exaggerated that it seemed superficial & these accounts seemed to behave the same, it's not that far of a stretch when you consider that this display of online harassment would only bring in more public support.

Alice's sister Paige Osborn confirmed the existence of multiple accounts created by Jupiter & Alice to a (now deleted) popular fan-page by the name of "aliceglassnews".

Something that remained on my mind throughout my time communicating with Jupiter was that Amanda had told me about the fact that Jupiter majored in psychology in college. I went on to find out that his studies also included reading satanic books of demonology and researching the behaviour of cult leaders and occultists such as Jim Jones & Aleister Crowley during his free-time. Jupiter would force his studies onto Alice and encourage her to research these dark topics. Another suspicion I had was that Alice did not have full control of her accounts because sometimes her writing style & tone would completely flip to being the exact same as Jupiter's, it was really obvious to me whenever they'd switch. I believe Jupiter would constantly voice his opinions through Alice, leaving her to be seen as the one with these point of views. I was truly freaked out by all of this information, specifically about his studies in psychology because I was worried Alice was unsafe with Jupiter due to the possibility that he was twisting her memories since he had the knowledge and ability to do so in the privacy of their home.

Whenever I'd talk to Alice she would constantly bring up Crystal Castles, out of nowhere during a converstation about Mr. Kitty she slandered the names of Crystal Castles’ crew-members by labelling them as people who are also abusive towards women, or so Alice claimed. Although the contradicting thing about this claim is, Alice told me before that she attempted to get these same 2 crew members to become a part of her team on tour with her, but they declined the offer. If this information about the crew members was true than why would she have even considered recruiting them at one point? what could've possibly made her come to this conclusion after they denied to join her on tour other than Jupiter, the same person who frames anyone that opposes him as "evil", these are people that Alice was close with for nearly her entire life and wanted to reconnect with after leaving Crystal Castles yet it's suddenly news to her that they're allegedly abusers. As shown in the beginning, Alice speaks about Jupiter breaking the news to her about Mr. Kitty being outed as a p*dophile, Jupiter is her source of news as everything is filtered and/or read to her by him.

I was given snippets/merch/information/lyrics/behind the scenes content/photos/songs/videos/voice notes/concert tickets and backstage passes as an appreciation token, these gestures kept me loyal as it felt like a dream come true to receive things like this from my favourite musician, but looking back now - what seemed like gifts at the time really ended up being more like treats for performing tricks.

In May 2018 I met Alice and Jupiter for the first time, me and my friend Rhi were brought backstage by Jupiter. Before meeting the tour crew, Jupiter brought out weed and alcohol for me & Rhi to take before we hung out for a couple of hours backstage at the venue until we moved to Alice’s tour bus after the closing staff asked us to leave. I was extremely grateful for these opportunities so I never questioned anything that seemed off. I hung out backstage with Alice again in October 2018, a strange pattern I noticed from the times we hung out was that with Jupiter around she would act timid but whenever he’d leave the room she would interact with more of a display of personality.

As time passed I got closer to them and because they liked my editing style so much I had the opportunity to do some freelance editing and graphic designing work for Alice. I accepted their requests because I wanted to help Alice in anyway that I could, even though I had never edited professionally or intended to do so ever. At first they paid me but over time the projects I worked on turned into 'favours' in their eyes, I gradually started feeling like they were taking advantage of how much I could help them in any way possible, as the later projects came at nothing but the cost of my time. We would either face-time, call or email each other to communicate during the creation of these projects, the strange fact is that other than to say “hello” Alice was never present. She wasn't there to give commands, express her opinions or give ideas for her own projects that we were working on, Jupiter was in control of the artistic decisions and by his command, everything was created in his vision.

Over the years Jupiter would attempt to command me to do things that could cause drama like requesting me to “rally up the fans” to publicly support him whenever he would come up with an insane plan to go viral, like for example: the Machine Gun Kelly Twitter drama he attempted to spark himself. He would try to take advantage of the fandom by seeing them as numbers on his side that he could influence and control or use as back-up support against people they fought with publicly. This influence would go as deep as for example: limiting my selection of music so that I wouldn’t listen to musicians they disliked by guilt-tripping me for supporting any of them (such as: any Crystal Castles songs without Alice Glass on it, CRIM3S, Poppy, Grimes, 100 gecs and some others).

By 2019 Jupiter became even more paranoid and delusional. Jupiter and Alice began claiming every account that interacted with them was created by Ethan to spy on them, this included newer Alice Glass fan-pages with bizarre claims like: anyone reposting photos of them on a night out without waiting a day were intentionally trying to set them up to be attacked by Ethan because it was giving away their location. These allegations of being stalked were followed by a claim that Ethan’s ex-girlfriend Autumn would visit LA to stalk them, but this was only backed up by the fact that Autumn posted a photo of herself on a busy street in LA on Instagram once. Following these delusions, Jupiter spoke about his violent thoughts about Ethan to me, Jupiter would tell me things like “I would knock him out in one punch” and other things along the lines of “if I could get Ethan in a room to myself..” with mentions of Ethan being restraint and helpless against Jupiter attacking him. I became extremely terrified of Jupiter and his violent fantasies, I genuinely believe Jupiter wishes to cause physical harm to Ethan and would do-so given the opportunity.

Due to this, my concerns about Alice being unsafe around Jupiter grew and even though I was still deep in their manipulation about Crystal Castles, I began to feel like what I've been told for years was possibly just paranoid delusions. Since I couldn't comfortably question anything publicly, I created an alternate account that I could use to figure out my concerns. In Summer 2019 I created "remixed_rewired". I was on-and-off that account as I was looking for more information about Ethan's side of the story, but the conflicting thoughts and confusion that I would continue to experience made it difficult to make sense of everything or to trust in anything other than what I've been told by Jupiter & Alice for years, it wasn't until late 2022 that I really started using that account and began uncovering the truth to everything I've been told.

By late October 2020 "fetus_fatale" was deleted, I also deleted my tumblr to further distance myself from everything. I told Jupiter my accounts were wrongfully terminated so that he wouldn't accuse me of being controlled by Ethan because I knew that's where his mind would go, all I truly wanted was to be a fan and to stop being questioned by them but I would continue to be reeled in. Jupiter blamed Ethan for deleting my accounts because Ethan is the scapegoat that they place the blame on everything for. Jupiter suggested multiple methods to recover my accounts and said that with Alice's help I could possibly get them back but thankfully the conversation died out.

Here’s 1 of many examples of Jupiter acting very strange towards me, in late November 2021 Jupiter questioned why I changed my username and profile picture (man in a skimask) to something that he found was too close in resemblance to Ethan’s scrapped stage name “Kausea” and to his aesthetic, I changed my username at his request but shortly after I changed it back because it bothered me that he thought he had a say in how I presented myself regardless of anything, this is just a peek of how controlling Jupiter can be towards others around him. Alice didn’t care about this situation whatsoever, this only bothered Jupiter.

Although I wanted to leave all of this behind & stop engaging in drama, in 2021 I found myself stuck in place being there for Alice as a shoulder to cry on. She confided in me about many things in her life regarding her family, romantic relationships, friends & other things such as arguments and experiences with other celebrities such as Marilyn Manson, Travis Scott, Grimes, Sadie Pinn of CRIM3S, Laura Les of 100 gecs, Alice Longyu Gao, Machine Gun Kelly, Marc Jacobs and more, some of them being people Alice once admired but that Jupiter hated.. I genuinely believe Alice adopted this animosity towards most of these celebrities because of what Jupiter would tell her about them.

I continued getting bizarre requests from Jupiter such as: compiling a folder of relationship drama involving Ethan and his ex-girlfriend Autumn with the intention to potentially sue Ethan in the future using whatever they could as evidence.

At this point on, I absolutely hated speaking to Jupiter but I would continue to speak with him so that I could keep him around for informative conversations regarding Alice's music. Even with Alice, I really only wanted to speak about music but Alice would tend to make a lot of these conversations heavy, often lying to me with the intention that I would spread misinformation online as ‘fun facts’ since I would commonly do so before with my credible accounts. One of the many bizarre lies she came up with was that Paul Epworth completely produced the Crystal Castles song "Celestica" all by himself and that Ethan took all the credit for it, I believe she lied due to the fact that she was getting slandered online for performing this song on her solo-career tour and needed to derail the drama regarding her performing Crystal Castles songs, but Paul Epworth only helped with additional production of the song after it’s initial stages of creation, Alice knows Celestica was produced by Ethan but chose to lie... quickly I began piecing together that a lot of the "fun facts" she's told me and other fans were either exaggerated or straight up a complete lie.

A lot of the facts Alice would tell me would tend to be contradicting, like for example: much earlier on when I still ran fetus_fatale, I mentioned the Doe Deer EP during one of our conversations & she got really mad at me for referring to the songs as the “2004 versions”, in a rage she corrected me and stated “there are no 2004 crystal castles songs. crystal castles only became crystal castles when I joined in 2006, this is done to discredit me.” – but wasn’t she the one who pushed that she joined the band earlier on? why does she keep backtracking and twisting her own stories? the contradictions piled up, the biggest one being the reveal of Alice’s ex-boyfriend Liam.

Liam's name came up in a conversation I had with Amanda regarding the Crystal Castles song titled “Why Do You Cry Every Time I Fuck You?” to which she revealed that it was written and titled by Alice about Liam regarding the fact he was depressed and would often avoid sex due to being sad. It was revealed to me that Alice & Liam dated from when Alice was about 15 until she reached adulthood (from 2004 until 2007), only 1 year after officially joining Crystal Castles in 2006 and turning 19 did her committed relationship with Ethan begin. Liam would go to all of their earlier shows & playfully troll Alice on online forums while claiming her as his girlfriend throughout the first couple of years that Crystal Castles performed live. Ethan also had a girlfriend during the time Liam and Alice dated, she recorded tons of videos of them in the earlier shows (for example: there is a video of them performing Xxzxcuzx Me on their official YouTube channel from their 2nd show in January 2006, that was recorded by Ethan's girlfriend at the time). Both Ethan's ex-girlfriend and Liam's existence contradicts the timeline of Alice & Ethan's romantic relationship, why does Alice hide this crucial information from the public when speaking about her romantic past?.

Let's talk about a moment when I caught Jupiter making up a false story on the spot: so “someone” began leaking unreleased Alice Glass music leading into 2022 through various accounts, I would DM Jupiter about these songs for more information as I was curious about them. He used 1 of the leaked song snippets "Stay" to his advantage by telling me that "Stay"'s final title is actually "She-Ra"(he re-titled the leaked song so it would reference Crystal Castles) and that it was actually one of the first songs he and Alice made together, dating back to before the Crystal Castles album Amnesty (I) was released. He went on to create the most bizarre story about Alice’s song “She-Ra”, stating that this song was plagiarized by Ethan with the help of a hired undercover sound-guy to create a song on Amnesty (I). The Crystal Castles track Jupiter was referring to was “Frail” by Crystal Castles, the thing is, “She-Ra” dates back to 2016 but “Frail” by Crystal Castles was recorded in December 2014, approximately 1 month after Ethan and Edith had first met in November 2014, this makes it impossible for his claim of plagiarism to have occurred. Jupiter was behind these pathetic accounts selling Alice's unreleased music to fans and attempting to scam them by claiming the songs as Crystal Castles demos or receiving the payment then blocking the buyer's account.

They would later use the structure of this fabricated “She-Ra” story in a 2024 written interview that mentioned how Alice's sound was stolen from her very early on in making solo music, this is yet another example at how many of their accusations against Ethan are simply just lies made up on the spot that is then turned into something that they can use for publicity in interviews. I found it very strange that in every new interview there was always undisclosed information to add-on about Ethan.

In July 2022 Alice told me she broke up with Jupiter a while back. During her time away from Jupiter, Alice began reposting Crystal Castles edits, watching old Crystal Castles performances in her hotel room while posting clips that included Ethan in them & even doodling chat bubbles saying “"♥‿♥ Hi Alice Glass!" over Ethan when signing Crystal Castles albums for fans, I found this sort of behaviour to be strange as it did not align with the constant fear of Ethan she allegedly lived in, seeing her playing around with whom she claimed as her abuser made me extremely uncomfortable and doubtful about everything she ever told me.

In September 2022 I hung out with Alice for the last time, this time Jupiter wasn’t there because Alice had broken up with him and it didn’t seem like she even wanted him on tour. We hung out after the show and took shots, Alice is very bubbly without Jupiter nearby, this broken-doll aesthetic and depressive online behaviour is very much pushed on her by Jupiter.

In my perspective, I truly believe Alice’s negatively influenced actions are simply the result of being brainwashed by Jupiter for 13 years now. Although Alice is clearly Jupiter’s victim and I believe that deep-down she's a good person, this sort of manipulated behaviour leads to innocent people getting hurt and needs to be talked about so that unnecessary drama caused by her, while under Jupiter's control, can end. I want nothing more than for Alice to stop allowing herself to be the face of Jupiter's schemes. It hurts me to see Jupiter take advantage of Alice's platform and use it as his own, he truly has no respect for Alice's legendary legacy and has held her back from living as an individual person and taking charge of her own career, Alice herself has stated that she finds Jupiter to be controlling. All of the stories we've heard from "Alice" have all been typed out and/or edited by Jupiter before posting - Jupiter defaming Crystal Castles through the creation of rumours, exaggerated stories and intentions to start false narratives about both members of the band is something that he must take accountability for. Even simply believing in unproven allegations and fabricated rumours helps Jupiter stain Crystal Castles’ history with lies and to support Alice Glass working with Jupiter Keyes means you support the on-going psychological abuse Alice has been suffering from Jupiter since October 2012. // Anyways, all of this fucked with my head for a very long time and there are many more reasons why my thoughts on everything has gradually changed over the years but I needed to explain certain things or else I’d just be letting speculations speak for me and I don't want to be misunderstood or drag drama along forever so I'm trying to answer most of the questions I’ve been asked... but let this also be a message for Jupiter & Alice to leave me alone... texting me "you're on the wrong side of history" while Jupiter is simultaneously bad-mouthing me & saying that I deserve to rot in hell for questioning him???... I didn't want to speak out like this but knowing that they'd intentionally mess with my head again: I'm here to say what I need to say but yea done with all of this forever so cya!!
