Long time no see

Hello everyone. It's been a while!

I logged into my simfileshare account by chance and saw I got over 100 downloads yesterday. Ya'll wild.

Well, ya boi has actually been playing sims a lot over the last couple of months and thought he'd revive his little tumblr.

If you see my page glitching, mind ya business :P

I also hope to make some more recolours, especially for males, and also want to work on some build-buy stuff as well as show you guys the giant berry rotational game I started!

It has like 15 families.... Each family has a focus, usually do to with skills and careers and stuff.

Thought I’d share what I’m experimenting with. Coloured teeth and mouths!

So your berries insides can match their outsides.

I’m working on recolouring multiple sets of teeth. Normal and fanged. With different versions. Teeth coloured only, both, and also just the inside of the mouth coloured for peeps who want white teeth.

I might actually also work on an overlay that just affects the mouth so you can mix and match teeth with mouth insides. Like for the above sim, he could have a green mouth but purple teeth :) I would love any suggestions or feedback, or even requests of sets of teeth you’d love to see this way.

The horns were made for female, but work on male as well. I tested them and you can see above how they sit on a male head :)

Noodle’s Elder Sorbets Remix

I was sitting there thinking about why I didn’t like them. Then I was looking through them and the colours aren’t bad or anything, they just don’t match the skins like the brights do and I think that’s the main reason.

But then I had this thought... A dangerous thought. What if there were skins, and eyes to match the elder palette and someone please save me from this thought that would add another 72 colours onto everything else... @.@

Someone messaged asking for all the hairs I’ve done. So I thought I’d post them all.

@tainoodles is working on recolouring the game hairs, and I recommend using any they do over mine!

There are some hairs missing, they are ones that Sims 4 Studio wouldn’t let save or would crash when I tried.

I personally don’t like the Elder palette, but if anyone wants to create addons for these, I’m more than willing to upload a version with the elder tags removed. Just send me a message!

Tutorial: For those who like bright berry elders!

I really love @tainoodles ‘s Sorbet’s palette, always have. But I personally like my elders bright, instead of with the dimmed out colours. Which is great since the elder’s sorbets are usually option files! However, most recolours don’t have elders checked for the brights. So, I’ve made a little tutorial showing you how you can edit the original files for the recolours to show up for elders. I think that makes sense. I hope @.@

Step 1:

You need Sims 4 Studio for this. It’s a great tool, especially for finding sneaky wonky cc that isn’t showing up correctly! You do have to register for their site, but it’s really easy and they even have all the info you need for installing it.

Step 2:

After getting and installing Sims 4 Studio you need to open it for the first time. It will take a little bit of time as it finds the game files and does its thing. This is fine!

Once it’s open, loaded, and done its thing, you need to click on “My CC” It may take a moment depending on your CC amount and your PC.

Step 3:

After it’s all loaded, it will show your CC on the left-hand side. Navigate to the CC in question. For this tutorial, I’m using the Island Living recolour merged package by @tainoodles​

Then, see where it’s circled and says number 2? Check that little elder chick box, then hit the button near the number 3.

Over near number four is all the files in the merged packaged. You must click on each of them and repeat the little steps But only for adult hairs. When you’re done, hit “Save” and now your elders will have bright hair colours =DD

Noodle’s Sorbets Remix Hair Recolours update

I thought I should post a little update. I would have earlier, but the flu went through my house and I ended up with a toothache. (I lost a few days of time recolouring stuff and that makes me madder than less time to do my essays lol).

Anyway, @tainoodles said that she is going to be recolouring the hairs now and that she has already started.

Even so, I’m still recolouring them for myself. I personally don’t want the elder palette, and I’m OCD about things. So since I started to ease those things, I’m finishing it for myself. But out of respect for Tainoodles, I won’t be posting them up.

After I’m done with hairs, I will be recolouring clothes. But I will only be recolouring items I like and plan to use from BG and Packs.
