How to Nominate

You are allowed up to 5 nominations. We recommend making sure you put your ride-or-dies down first and come back once several more ships have been approved

In the "Fandom" box, select InuYasha-A Feudal Fairy Tale from the drop-down. You may need to start typing for it to show up.

Information will be more quickly available and questions answered more promptly within the discord server, so please consider joining us there!

AI art is getting more and more difficult to distinguish now, we're falling back onto fae rules 😂

Count the fingers, knuckles, ears, and teeth. Check the shadows, hair, and eyes

Check profiles to see if art looks similar to other artwork they've done and how frequently they upload.

Look for strange "artifacts" in the image. Artists draw with intention, AI just throws shit at the wall to see what sticks

Most importantly, don't make deals, promises, or give them your name

Seeing the prominence of AI art and content in the Inuyasha community—both in TikTok and Tumblr as well as Ao3—is suffice to say...dissapointing.

Please. COMMISSION an artist. PICK UP A PEN if you have to. REQUEST AN ARTIST FRIEND to draw it for you. Literally, there are numerous alternatives other than AI🤦🏻

What the heck are Tag Nominations?!

This is a VERY common question. This is a fairly unique aspect of this exchange, so it's not uncommon for people to not have encountered it before.

Tag Nominations are basically a way to add specific pairings (romantic or platonic) to the "accepted list" of pairings that will be available when it comes time to put in your requests or offers for the exchange. Requests are what you would like to have created for you and Offers are what you are willing to create for someone else.

We will have another post to explain more about Requests, Offers, Prompts, and DNWs (Do Not Wants) a little later!

How do I nominate tags?

When tag nominations open up, the link to the Exchange Tag page will be posted. (Links and information will be posted to the server first, so please consider joining!)

Click on nominate and go wild!

We are using the “InuYasha-A Feudal Fairy Tale” fandom tag as a broad term. You are allowed to include Yashamime ships. You are allowed to nominate 5 relationships per entry.

Relationship tags may include those already associated with the fandom on Ao3, throuples, tags not already associated on Ao3 (don’t worry if your tag doesn’t appear as you type! Just continue and hit “enter”), and Canon characters with an Original character. (Please type in as Original Character/X. Do not use "OC")

For platonic relationships, it helps tags and creators if you use & rather than / when creating your nomination.

The second form is obviously optional. Don’t forget to hit Submit!

I think the idea for this originally came from discord shenanigans that I HAD to get out of my system, about that particular scene in the beginning of their adventure being mirrored after they'd been reunited but VERY different vibes. At the time of drawing this I was imagining that it may be started out very Passionate and Heated but divulged into something softer and more reverent.

And silly me also made the dialogue so it could be read as either one of them telling the other to beg and I love that.

I just love Them, really
