Was anyone else put through a fucked up drinking and driving themed hospital tour in order to graduate high school or was that just British Columbia. Let me break this down
- its called the PARTY program, and you could not graduate without it
- first they give us a lesson on how to faint
- we then spent the morning in a basement conference room, it begins as a normal lecture on drinking and driving.
- then, they begin showing us photos of mutilated dead people who were in car accidents. This was the first time i seen someones organs on the outside of their body.
- after that slideshow, they tell us to close our eyes. The presenter then begins to guide us through an imaginary scenario where a police officer comes to your door to tell you your parents died in a violent car accident.
- half the class, including myself, has to leave the room to start crying. Some of those classmates were just forced to relive actual life events.
- lunch time!!!
- next is the morgue! The nurse took us into the room with body coolers. They had a fake corpse set up in one cooler, but she pulls out a real dead body ((it was bagged/not visual)) on accident
- there is a room at the back of this room. We enter. It is wall to wall with jarred organs.
- nurse passes around a jar with a human brain in it.
- after that the tour went fairly normal. An old man had me hold a peeing tube or something idk.
Some other things happened to people in another class but I cant remember it all. I just want to know if anyone else out there was put through this shit

This looks like a fucking parody post, or an edgy edit, but it’s 100% official real Flintstones.

Canada is pushing a new online hate speech law
The timing of this bill comes off as very sketchy considering how pro Palestine activists are being demonized while an active genocide is happening.
Pleaaase be very careful about the language you use in your posts, especially about the ongoing war. Be straight to the point, dont give them extra fluff to turn against you.
Lastly if this bill does nothing to address the transphobia crisis in our country ill be furious. Transphobes/Terfs will say the most vile, violent and dehumanizing things Ive ever heard (even on video) and see no consequences- even calls to violence get overlooked.

99% of "mysterious disappearances" esp of people in their 20s who start acting weird for 48 hours and then vanish are not mysterious, thats just when a lot of reality-obliterating mental illness tends to kick in and it's pretty easy to get a short circuit in your brain that makes you go family guy death pose in joshua tree national park. it's not any less tragic, it's just a documented phenomenon and not particularly predictable. its a big reason the medical advice is for people with a family history of schizophrenia to completely avoid weed and psychedelics. "people just go crazy sometimes" is a principle of human health that used to be a lot more accepted prior to the american midcentury and to a certain extent thats a healthier way to conceptualize and prepare for the risk, as opposed to the modern assertion that anyone acting weird is dangerous and broken forever.

i couldn't even appreciate the artistry behind the clothing designs this year at the met gala because my bitterness and anger toward the exorbitantly wealthy has grown too much to be contained i try to say ooo pretty gown but all the black hateful bile starts oozing out from under the lid of its container. 7 months of genocide and the largest homeless camps my city has ever seen and food banks in the universities and baby formula locked behind glass and stomach gnawing guilt over a $7 latte and rent is always late and always behind on electricity bills uh ohhhh summer is here time for another wild fire. oooo pretty gown. the next met gala theme will be bear spray and what happens is i bear spray inside the gallery. i can't even force a sort of healthy detachment anymore like "haha oh well i guess that movie actor is rich it's not like they're an ultra wealthy bazillionaire oooo pretty gown" they're all worms to me vile beasts i look at them in their isolated imagine john lennon covid song bubble and i feeeeeel the milk of human kindness curdling within me. how can you smile at the camera. we are all dying girl. isn't there a protest not even a block away from you guys? protesters and riot cops and homeless ppl in the streets. i guess that's unfair you guys deserve a night of glitz and glamour and getting away from it all as if you're not constantly away from it all. girl we are dying. sick sick world. sick dying world. anyway i didn't watch the met gala this year

Here's a website where Palestine GoFundMes are vetted and shared that you can send out to people. The url is gazafunds.com
Easy to use and simple. Just share the site whenever someone asks for GFMs for Palestine.

unsung benefit i think a lot of ppl are sleeping on with using the public library is that i think its a great replacement for the dopamine hit some ppl get from online shopping. it kind of fills that niche of reserving something that you then get to anticipate the arrival of and enjoy when it arrives, but without like, the waste and the money.
