*SPOILERS* Slasher: Flesh and Blood episode 2- “The sins of our father” review
Episode 2 starts off from the ending of episode 1 where *a mother discovers that her other son lived when he was kidnapped as a child and they reunite years after the incident.* *For those of you who have seen episode 1, you know that David Cronenburg’s character decided to hire a nurse to help him with “assisted suicide” and he went through with it by being injected with a muscle relaxant and a sedative, only to be finished off by the killer.* The nurse who helps Cronenburg’s character with assisted suicide, announces to the family that he has passed away and encourages them to say their goodbyes. Since he has passed, the story from episode 1 continues where the family must compete in challenges in order to inherit his real estate. I will not spoiler any major details on the deaths or what they must do in these “challenges” but I will say, it is pretty insane. Overall, the episode had a great plot, lots of kills, and was a great continuation of the first episode.

Slasher: Flesh and Blood episode 1- Thicker than water review
Like all of the other seasons, the series starts off great. The very first episode starts off crazy and gets really violent. I cannot details about scenes in specific so, if you want spoilers feel free to P.M me. The first episode is just the start of the series and revolves around a wealthy family who has a relative that offers them to move in and after he passes to inherit his belongings, The specific character I am talking about is played by David Cronenburg. This is David Cronenburg’s first time acting in “Slasher” and his character is great! There are quite a few returning cast members from previous seasons of the show and their acting is just as great as I remembered. Episode 1 featured quite a few kills for a first episode and some story details that I cannot spoil. These details will be included in my episode 2 review for those of you who want spoilers.  I cannot really dive any deeper into the episode to avoid spoilers and spoilers for episode 1 will be in my episode 2 review.

My review of "The Suicide Squad"
Tonight, I went to the premiere of "The Suicide Squad" at the IMAX. The movie was way better than the trailer made it look. It was much different from the first movie. And it got away with alot more in terms of sex, violence, and nudity due to its R rating. The gore was really heavy. And me being a fan of the first film, and a huge fan of violent horror movies, I thought "The Suicide Squad" was perfect. The storyline was also great, the cast was amazing, not to mention.... it was HILARIOUS!, if you look closely you will spot Lloyd Kaufman in a cameo. I highly reccomend this one to anyone who likes violent action movies with lots of humor. It made the first one seem like a disney movie. I also prefer the new and improved style Harley Quinn in "The Suicide Squad" more than the Harley Quinn from the first film. Fun fact for those of you who did not know, Lloyd Kaufman has collaborated with James Gunn many times and was his mentor. The first film they worked on was "Tromeo and Juliet" if you have not seen it and like your movies over the top, give it a watch!
Sidenote: The movie was so funny I nearly peed myself laughing in the theatre along with everyone else!
5/5 stars!

My review of Fear Street Part 2: 1978
Fear Street Part 2: 1978 was a great slasher film that had plenty of throwbacks to slasher films from the late 70's such as Friday the 13th and Sleepaway Camp. The film was a slow burner but about an hour into the film the violence really ramps up! I absolutely loved the acting, the cast, and the story. Many people will notice a certain cast member that had a role in Halloween (2018) along with some other familiar faces. R.L Stine fans and fans of early to late 70's slasher films will really appreciate this installment in the Fear Street trilogy. There was plenty of gruesome violence and gore and a high amount of sexual content. As we all know, slasher films from the late 70's such as Friday The 13th delivered plenty of sexual content and high amounts of violence. The sexual content in this film is a throwback to how much sexual content was in late 70's slasher films.

Fear Street Part 3: 1966 Film Review
On Wednesday, I recieved a Netflix screener link by Netflix for Fear Street Part 3. I thought this installment was a great ending for the trilogy. It goes deeper into Sara Fier, the witches origins and provides the viewers with plenty of backstory to provide a better understanding of part 1 and part 2. The film delivers plenty of both horror and gore. The acting and story were absolutely great! I highly reccomend this film to anyone who is a fan of R.L Stine and horror. However, due to part 2's sexual content and violence. Parents want to watch out watching these with their kids. Part 1 was not very sexual and less violent, part 2 had some very graphic sex scenes and plenty of violence, part 3 had some sexual content but it was nowhere near how graphic part 3 was and closer to part 1 when it comes to sexual content. Part 3 was more about witchcraft than the previous 2 films. If you are a fan of movies about withcraft, I reccomend that you watch this film along with the other 2!

A still from my favorite film "The Devil's Rejects" I know many people hate Rob Zombie. I have no clue on the reason why. In my opinion, his Halloween remake had much more backstory and was far superior to the original.

Spoiler free Movie review for Fear Street Part 1: 1994
Fear Street Part 1: 1994 was a great film! The characters were very likeable, the acting was superb, it offered a lot of gore for something created by R.L Stine and based off of one of his novels. Fear Street part 1 was much more graphic than any novel R.L Stine has made. Part 1 has throwbacks to 1994 films such as Scream. The film had a great flow to it and the film does not miss out on any unsolved details. I am psyched to see what part 2 has to offer. Make sure to watch the film until the end because there is a scene that shows a brief trailer of what to expect from part 2. Lastly, I love how this trilogy will revolve around one story and have throwbacks to many great horror films. The film will leave you wondering what to expect next. If you love slasher films. I highly reccommend it. There will be 3 films coming out. I really hope there are more R-rated movies based off his novels!
My rating 4.5/5 stars

My passion for film
Since childhood I have always wanted to work in the film industry. When I was a child I wanted to be an actor. I eventually took acting classes and did not perform as well as I expected, so I moved onto pursuing film school. I have had a year and a half of film school experience and I did very well in school. The only problem was that I did not have enough room in my apartment to take certain kinds of camera shots. In film school, I learned how to edit really well. Shortly after, I downloaded some editing programs so I could brush up my editing skills. Recently, a friend offered for me to edit a Youtube video for him and that turned out perfectly. The video editing he wanted me to edit included me adding green screen effects, a logo towards the beginning of the video, and adding different kill scenes from the film with background images around the scene when it played. I also learned how to use censor icons while editing. Halloween Ressurection. The video ran about 25 minutes. After I finished the final product and sent it to my friend, he really loved it and said that I am a great editor which pushed me more to pursue my dream of working in the film industry as an editor. Because of my love for film, not only do I plan to become a film editor, but also work in other fields in the film industry.

This is a concept idea for a logo for my potential film company. Minus the white background around the skull. Does anyone have any feedback?

I recieved an email earlier inviting me to join an online premiere screening for this film. I do not regret it. Fear Street was awesome and so much different from your usual R.L Stine film. 4.5/5 stars

About me
My name is Branden, I am 26 years old. My biggest dream is to become an editor for film and possibly move onto directing and producing my own films. Horror has been my passion since I was a child. The director that has influenced me is Rob Zombie and my favorite film of his is The Devil's Rejects. In the near future I plan on making similar films to his but with my own twist. Horror is not the only thing I love, I also appreciate a good comedy every now and then. My favorite comedy is Zack and Miri. I appreciate comedies that are no holds barred.
