The Fiftieth and Final Wonder: AURORA BOREALIS

If there is anything more mysteriously magnificent in the world than the Aurora Borealis, we haven't discovered it yet. 

With this final handmade design, this wraps up my year-long challenge!! So proud to look back at all the work I've done, the focus I've found, and the fact that I actually stuck it out and completed my goal! What's next?

Number one of two waterfalls on this list. Otherwise known as "The Smoke that Thunders", this waterfall straddles the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Russia's enorm-itanically giganti-large lake is over 5,000 feet deep and holds 20% of the world's fresh water. More water than all five Great Lakes combined. Gotdamn!

OK, this place may be scarier than the deep ocean. No, but it is a jungle in there. Things will get hairy.

The Forty-First Wonder: Rock of Gibraltar

A massive mountain in the sea with a labyrinth of tunnels dug out through it. Prettttyyyy cool!

The Fortieth Wonder: Deep Sea Vents

Nothing is more scary than the deep sea. There are all sorts of terrible things that lie beneath the deep. These are cool though.

The Thirty-Ninth Wonder: Grand Canyon

Two hundred and seventy-seven miles long, eighteen miles across, a mile deep, two billion years in the making, and ALL American. YEE-HAW!

The Thirty-Eighth Wonder: Serengeti

The Serengeti Plains have one of the largest, most diverse large mammal population in the world, with over 70 species! Plus all the other wildlife! Planet Earth is my favorite tv show, so I'm no stranger to the coolness of the Serengeti. Rawr.

NESSIE!!!!!! Don't you just hope upon hope that the Loch Ness Monster is real? Oh it would rule.

The Thirty-Fifth Wonder: Beijing National Stadium

Built in 2008 for the Summer Olympics, this place definitely looks dope, and it also marks the end of the manmade wonders list! Also notably this is section two of the first mega post! Up next: Natural Wonders!!

A mile-and-a-half long bridge that stands 1100 feet tall. Making it easy for the French to take vacation. What a wonder! Also this happens to be part one, section one of a two part, three-section-mega-post-catch-up! Lucky you!
