When you think about it, it's really funny that Jod had four (4) Lyctors and in an attempt at getting more started a chain of events that ended with him having one (1) Lyctor. To make matters worse, that Lyctor is Ianthe Tridentarius. John Gaius, the failman that you are. Simply astounding.

can't stop thinking about tamsyn muir's choice to present her deep, morally and politically complex science fantasy world with a central web of magic, secrets and lies reaching back ten thousand years through the eyes of three characters who:
1. tune out and start thinking about hot women whenever the magic system or worldbuilding are being explained
2. experience hallucinations on a daily basis, have brain damage and are being deceived and misled by their peers, authority figures, themselves and God
3. don't know who they are, have spent their entire life in one place and are, on all levels but physical, six months old

I think cis people should also be their gender of choice. Like, if you're a man, you should get to really enjoy being a man- have fun with it! If you're a woman, take the parts of womanhood that really deeply make you happy. If being a little androgynous or ambiguous or hidden is the part that really makes you happy, you don't have to be trans for that. If you wanna lean really hard into being femme or masc- do it! You have one life in your body, do what makes you happy. Ditch the stuff you don't like.
My sinister queer agenda is I think that everyone should be the gender they like in the way they like it.

A week before we went to Dashcon, I visited you at a convention in California with the intention of asking you to be my partner. That plan was almost foiled when I got kicked out of the hotel our group was staying in for a petty reason. Even after I told you to go ahead and room with them while I scrambled to find myself accommodations, you gave up your space and chose to stick by me.
Even before Dashcon happened, I thought I'd blown my chance at a relationship with you, but you showed me that we were capable of getting through any crisis life throws at us, together. ❤️

Hello, just going to be extra gay on my blog for a second here. I think it's only fitting to make a post about this on tumblr dot com.
10 years ago to the day, @breadlovinggay and I went on our first date. I took her to the zoo to see the seasonal butterfly exhibit, the atmosphere was lovely, and we decided there that our relationship would be official. After we left the zoo, we went to early ticket pick-up for Dashcon. That was the occasion she had flown over to visit me for. I was pretty sure I fucked up the relationship just about as soon as it started when the unassuming little convention I convinced her to fly across the country for turned out... like it did. Clearly my fears were unfounded, considering we're married now.
Dashcon ended up being a formative part of our relationship. It's an important, gloriously ridiculous symbol to us. If that's how it started for us, we'll get through whatever stupid turns life throws at us and find a way to come out of it laughing after the fact!
Tomorrow, happy 10 year Dashcon anniversary to this website! Today, happy 10 years to the insane motherfucker who said she would marry me in a dumpster and ended up a lot closer to the mark than expected when we got married in the middle of a pandemic, in my parents' back yard under a balloon arch. I love you!

I don't think anyone's explored how hilarious it would be to have Izzy go back in time after he dies to when the crew couldn't stand him because his personality would be so different.
They would all be so confused.
