A podcast emerges...
Drawn from the Livewire 1350 vaults, this 2012 podcast has been painstakingly remastered for your entertainment. Previously known to only a small circle of bootleggers, the elusive Danny's Birthday episode is now available to absolutely everybody, absolutely everywhere for no price at all.
Preserved in brine for twelve months, Danny's Birthday was removed from its audio carapace and hauled over the pond, where it was treated to a long editing process by the dedicated Breadwire team in California. Every joke, rant and vocal inflection has been hand-crafted by skilled tradesmen, polished to a fine sheen and rearranged back into the correct order.
Too delicate to fly, the podcast made its return journey by ferry,  flanked by Barack Obama's personal battleships. Arriving in Portsmouth sometime last week, it was whisked off to see the Queen before undergoing final checks at Sandringham Estate, Norfolk. It is now available to the public via this webpage, and will continue to entertain long after Armageddon has left its ugly mark on the planet.
More will follow.

Show #9: Breadwire Returns
Due to overwhelming popular demand, Danny and Bruce have emerged out of retirement to host another season of Breadwire fun.
In keeping with the show's raison d'etre, this week's show was...bready. We talked baguettes, traumatic children's parties and a novel new way to decorate your pets.
It also marked the debut of a new feature, The Weekly Bread, in which we give away a loaf of bread to someone, for some reason. Congratulations to Jess, whose sterling effort in baking Bruce birthday bread was rewarded with, well, bread.

Garfield didn't listen at 3pm. Now look at him, he's a mess. Our theme is still TBA. That's not a new disease, we just haven't thought of anything good. However, the show will be wonderful.

Show Seven: Friday 25th Movember
The file for this week's competition can be found here. Name as many of these talents before they were superstars ([email protected]) and we'll rustle together a package of goodies for you - promise!
The competition will be thick and fierce, and should the site overload with heavy traffic be patient. We like to run a smooth ship but sometimes the fan activity gets too much. Just CALM...DOWN!
This, on the other hand, is lovely. Thank you Jo King. Har har har.
Songs played this week...
Shaggy - It Wasn't Me Dido - White Flag Queen - Show Must Go On J. Cole - Work Out Kanye West, Jay Z Ft. Mr Hudson- Why I Love You Joseph and David - Falling Wood

Danny's Professional Role Model
The epitaph of last week's show (18th November) was that errors (and fart noises, weird groans, over-talking and a distinct lack of music) will ruddy-bloody happen. This week's show will feature songs exploring the root cause of the problems of our show. In addition, redemption. It's hard to improve perfection but we try, the push for the second season is on. We get gritty like The Wire but with any luck most of the characters will survive the series. Spoiler alert.

Show Five: Friday 11th Movember
This week's show mulled on Mustaches and Memorial day. The Emperor failed to show for his weekly public service announcement, so Danny and Bruce soldiered on to broadcast an extra half hour of quality radio.
Our show is like a bodybuilder. We chisel and sculpt its abdomen, editing bits here and thrusting bits there. Which is why we've set up an email account for you to get in contact WHEN WE'RE OFF THE AIR! Let us know your thoughts, feelings, woes, worries and ideas for future shows.
Songs played this week:
Wilson Pickett - Mustache Sally Vera Lynn - We'll Meet Again ZZ Top - Sharp Dressed Man Ed Sheeran - Lego House Bruce Springsteen - Bring 'Em Home Black Keys - Howlin' For You Peter Doherty - 1939 Returning Dry The River - Bible Belt Nas - Less Than Hour Halls and Oates - Make My Dreams Come True

A word on mustaches...
This week’s show I shall be focusing upon mustaches, given the current month. Here is the  greatest man ever, Ron Swanson. His words of  wisdom shall be played throughout the show.
Danny
And if you'd like to sponsor an incredible set of whiskers, click here to donate to the mighty Brucetache.
Moustache Fridays are sponsored by Whiskers (other catfoods are available)
My mustache mascot this week will be friend of the show, Richard Dylan. Has his writing touched such levels of grandeur? Only time will tell (or else Friday will...3:00-4:30).
Bruce
I like what you've done with the layout - very impressive. However, can you for once refrain from mentioning Bob Dylan. Every single show, it's that and eggs, I'm sick of it. It's completely unprofessional. Also, we should watch that 'Cure' film sometime this week.
Danny
Thank you. Early days, but I wouldn't be surprised if by 2012 we're competing with Youtube. Tumblr isn't as flexible as I'd hoped. This is actually a repost of your old Ron Swanson entry because submitting a single 'picture' doesn't allow for much editing.
Truth be told, I'm sick of eggs too. I haven't eaten them for a week and talking about them would be dishonest. Bought a breadbin today though. This week's show will be bloody marvelous, and dare I say it poignant at times. We should watch that film, and we should do it alone but simultaneously. Who's Bob Dylan?
