The most dramatic moment during my Camp Counseling career at an all girls camp was when a girl got a letter from a friend saying that Zac Efron had died and one of her bunkmates ran out of the cabin and shouted “ZAC EFRON IS DEAD!!!!!” and the camp immediately fell into chaos girls were crying in the middle of camp and running around spreading the news everyone was yelling and the counselors had to look up wether or not Zac Efron was dead (this is a wireless camp so the girls couldn’t access the internet and check for themselves) and then get out a megaphone and be like “ZAC EFRON IS NOT DEAD PLEASE REMAIN CALM” outside of all the cabins it was insanity.

ultimately the truth about frankenstein is that we are all grotesque amalgamations of the best and worst parts of everyone who came before us. and sometimes the people who are supposed to love us because of and in spite of this will not. and we can kill them with hammers for that. and i think that’s beautiful

you CANNOT read too much old timey fiction because I was playing Raft with the lads this morning and without a THOUGHT said we could sail over to another island "if the wind would consent to blow" & let me tell you. This did not pass by unremarked.

nature documentary but the narration is just weird enough to make you question it

People don’t realize how much we sound like other things because we are created from the same laws of physics. “That potato in the microwave sounds like it’s screaming” is funny because it really is, air is vibrating out of a small hole which is how our throat works too. The babbling river that sounds like humans whispering, that’s because it’s a wet hollow cave with echo delivering the same functionality. The river doesn’t just sound like us, we sound like a river. They use a metal trashcan to create a lion’s roar for movie sound effects. But the truth is, not only does a trashcan sound like a lion, a lion sounds like a trashcan. Cars purr when you turn them on. Everything is like everything else. Inanimate objects are not so far away from life as it seems.

Remember the next time you feel more alone in the company of large buildings, or maybe less alone among the rocks of the river, that they are not completely unlike the parts of you.

Dan attempting team bonding with the freshmen that turns into a drinking game of never have I ever to try to help the original Foxes and the freshmen find commonalities.

It almost immediately devolves into pointed pettiness.

One of the freshmen, being a little shit, smiles at Aaron while saying, "Never have I ever killed anyone."

The freshmen laugh, rubbing salt in the wound of Aaron's recent murder trial.

The laughter stops when Aaron, Andrew, Neil, and Renee (soda) all drink without missing a beat.

The freshmen look around at the upperclassmen nervously as they realize there are 3 more murderers than they expected in the room.

The freshmen do not sleep easy that night.

Loool so I hit the tavern tonight n flashed a little ankle at the barmaid for a few extra shillings off my ale (as any good maiden should) then I heard this ALMIGHTY crash ??? Turned around to see it was no other than the newly appointed Knight who had fallen off his chair 🙄🙄🙄 when I offered him a hand he kept almost getting up and staggering down again, covering his visor and muttering 'I shan't, no, I shan't, forgive me, I shan't' 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
