I don’t think I’ll ever understand why it was okay (and celebrated) for Gabby to want to be with an engaged man (and try to jump in a relationship with Matt right after him and Hallie broke up), yet it’s awful for Sylvie to get together with Matt long after he and Gabby get a divorce.
Make it make sense, please.
I only ever see hate for Sylvie. Never for Matt who was the one who continually chased after her. Who was the one who had a ring for a year and a half.
The “she is Gabby’s best friend” excuse doesn’t fly either. Because they’re not best friends. Best friends don’t leave without a goodbye. They also keep in touch, and Andrea confirmed that is not the case.
Gabby left both of them. They’re free to be with whoever they want to be with. You don’t own someone because you were previously in a relationship with them.
It doesn’t really matter in the end, because the show was more than clear Brettsey are it for each. They survived everything life threw at them, and came out stronger on the other side ❤️
