for the past prompt, i wanted to draw one of my comic characters as a child!! i had some old sketches for both aylin and caelius, but i liked aylin's pose better and i'm already behind, so i just chose to clean up hers instead of both :'3

OC-TOBER Day 1: Favorite OC

An oc I’ve never posted here before? WILD SHIT!

This is Puppet- she’s my lovely lil genderfluid baby, she’s top pick I think ever since I made them? She’s muscle memory to draw and it’s always enjoyable :) comfort OC for SURE-

I may be a little late even for this quality- but that’s cause I figured out I was joining a couple hours before midnight. I say the day hasn’t ended until I fall asleep (untrue entirely but we move-)

Oc-Tober Day 1: Favorite OC

day one lets go! The prompt today was "favorite Oc" and while I love all my original characters equally...K is definitely the favorite child. I only had enough time to do a simple sketch today but I have ALOT to say about this little guy.

"K" was my FIRST character I came up with back when I first started on my comic Paracosmic, It was originally going to be a homestuck fan-comic actually! but as I kept writing It slowly became something all in itself. Heres a rough (very rough) design timeline I put together a few months ago:

K is the main character of Paracosmic and the story revolves around his adventure through the universe (along with a couple of other weirdos), and the many experiences he faces that challenge him to grow. Hes eccentric, awkward, and a bit naive and I love writing the dumb situations he gets himself in. Hes my favorite because a lot of his character development involves this theme of learning to be ok with the past and also being ok with not knowing what happens next either, things I myself often struggle with. Hes been through a lot but somehow manages to come out of it as a stronger person and that's what matters! I could yap forever about my little guy, hes just the coolest!
