After last weekend I decided that I'd start to eat at home more and healthier again. DIET IS NOT A CURE for #IBD but when I eat healthier, I do feel a little better and also have a little more energy. Going to be a long day to say the least. #Crohns and #Colitis Awareness Week continues for me at the #AdvancesInIBD conference in Orlando. Going to learn as much as I can, see some fellow #IBD family members, and maybe a tiny bit of fun/sun if there is time. I'll be going live throughout the conference on the IBD HealthCentral page and on the Intense Intestines Foundation page as well. Looking forward to never stopping and continuing to help others. It's extremely hard to put into words how thankful I am for everyone I'm getting to spend this Thanksgiving with and being welcomed into one of the most INCREDIBLE families I've ever met. I'm one of the luckiest guys in the world and so thankful for my new family that I love so much and who, at the very least, act like they love me too. 😉 View isn't bad either. Heading back into the city for the marathon tomorrow. Looking forward to what I'm sure will be an amazing pasta party with the Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research. Really getting excited about running the #NYCMarathon Sunday. Just a few years ago this is something I thought would never happen. It's amazing how with hard work a lot can be done. Your goal might not be a marathon or an Ironman but it's still just as amazing. Set a small goal and then go get it. After that set another little goal and go crush that. Before you know it all the small goals add up and your life is changed. If I can do this, so can many of you. Don't give up. Don't let #IBD control your life.
