Nvm saw a spoiler that says it's gonna be a two-part Super Edition? Still weird but at least there's an explanation
Just picked up Ivypool's Heart and my first critique?
Why is it so short, this has got to be the shortest super edition ever, it may as well have been a novella or a graphic novel, this will take me like two hours to read through at most.
Erins, what are you doing?

Sometimes I consider being less nice to people because everyone comments on just how nice I am and it gives the impression that I'm a people pleaser and a doormat. The only thing worse (to me) than people thinking they can treat me like a doormat are the people who try and stand up for me.
My kindness is a choice, every single day, it's a choice I make.
And when people try and tell me I'm being too forgiving? That I should be more upset? That pisses me off.
To see more kindness in the world, you have to be part of the reason it becomes kinder, show kindness to recieve it.
I hate it when people look down on me for being so forgiving, I make an effort to be understanding because I know it would be easier to be angry and selfish and lash out over hurt feelings but I don't want to be that person.
I hate feeling angry even when I have every right to be, it's an awful feeling and it's one that lingers and could become a grudge.
And I'm not by any means saying it's impossible to upset me, I will absolutely let people know when they've crossed a line, and I'm fully capable of holding a grudge (F you Mr G6 teacher).
I do feel bad for the people who expect me to be angry because clearly they've never met a person mature enough to forgive them for things both beyond and within their control. Sometimes, the bare minimum is, in fact, exactly enough to earn forgiveness. It's just about how you handle it.
Idk where I'm going with this I'm just mad that people want me to be upset over stupid little things. That's emotional energy I can't spare, I'd rather forgive and be happy with life

What is some rhetoric someone raised in a cult dedicated to the concept of Order believe in?

I love the show From but I would never read fanfiction for it and I'm not sure what that says about how I actually feel about the show
#brindle speaks#not warriors#From Epix#Like I'm really invested in this show#but I can't bring myself to look for fanfics while I wait for S3

Knowing that the Nightmare spell created the Nightmares and that corrupted creatures existed before the spell, I disagree that they have to go through a dream simply because the spell only seems to affect humans, not monsters.
I do agree that desire is a big part of the corruption process, as seen with the Ravenous Fiend. The little Imp's desire to grow stronger than Sunny is most likely what allowed it to grow from a fallen demon to a corrupted devil.
I headcanon, that just like how when a person ascends they must go through a terrible Nightmare, and come out the victor or survive
that for a Nightmare creature to descend further, they must go through a Dream that is conjured up by their Corrupted Soul about their Desires, and either reject these memories or embrace them so deeply and wholly that they will never be forgotten
that is why creatures born to corruption are typically so much weaker, they have to find their own desire before they can even witness this Dream the first time,
children born of the Corruption are a lot like Aspect less awakened
only that The Weave filters out the Aspect less and only infect those who have one, and as there is no System in place for Corruption, it is only instinct that leads Nightmare Creatures to Corrupting those that have Desire
and in order to fall further after their first, they must be subjected to more and more of their own Desire, and must do the same, Reject it completely, embrace that Desire, or die, those are the options

When I get overwhelmed and start disassociating, it feels like someone has phased through my skull and is just holding my brain instead of letting it float in the brain juice.
It's a weird sensation
#brindle speaks#not warriors#the topic came up last night#they thought it was cool#i can assure you#its very unpleasant

Think like, Bluestar taking Runningpaw to Tallstar to show him why he deserves to be named Runningwind.
And what if both clans had to be present for the ceremony? What if it was a statement of alliances? (In this world, Runningwind and Fireheart retrieve Windclan as proof of the alliance)
I kinda like the idea of certain suffixes being (loosely) clan specific, loosely as in technically any clan can use them but only with permission
Shadowclan: -shadow, -shade
Riverclan: -brook, -stream
Windclan: -wind, -breeze
Thunderclan: -spark, strike
I just think it would be cool and add a bit to clan relations, and think about what it could be mean for the new warrior, that their leader felt them deserving of a non-typical name and the honor to go with their leader to prove to the other clan that they deserved it

I have since been told that Zelda has always been the Sage of Time and has always had Light Powers to go along with it, it just feels like too much to put onto one character. Especially because (to me), it puts a lot of blame on Zelda for putting herself into that position without a way to get back out. It makes the dragon thing feel less.... IDK less something? Because there was another option within her power to do, we know this because that's how she ended up in the past, she just doesn't know how to recreate it.
By seperating her powers and having Link accidentally send her to the past, becoming the Light Dragon is Zelda's ONLY hope, not just the most convenient (though still horrifying if it was truly irreversible)
Been thinking and honestly I wanna change one thing about Tears of the Kingdom (technically like three idk)
When Rauru's Secret Stone fell, Link picks it up first.
Its already suggested/theorized that he has time-based powers thanks to his flurry rush and bullet time, the Secret Stone would empower that. It would also be cool to get a glimpse at what Link could potentially do with a Secret Stone, without giving the player something so overpowered. Link picks up the Stone, his Time Powers don't do much against Ganondorf's Darkness and the Master Sword breaks. As he's reaching out for her, he drops the Stone while thinking Save her. Zelda catches the stone and disappears into the past, Rauru catches Link and takes him to the Room of Awakening to Heal. This makes Zelda's confusion over how to return to her own time feel a little less "Its my own fault I can't get back" and more "This is all I can do". Zelda trains with Rauru instead on how to use her Light Powers and her Secret Stone, while Sonia makes an attempt to reach the future, her powers aren't enough to send Zelda back but she does receive the Master Sword. Together, Zelda and Rauru are able to repair the Master Sword while figuring out what to do. Sonia dies to Ganandorf, Rauru seals him away, and Zelda realizes that the Master Sword is in no way ready to be used against Ganondorf even in the future and becomes the Light Dragon to empower the Master Sword.
This gets rid of the (read: my) confusion over how Zelda's Time Secret Stone turned her into a Light Dragon when swallowed, and overall feels like a more cohesive story

I was about to post a dumb question but googled it instead.
I have lived for almost 24 years thinking it took two months to cycle from one full moon to the next. Like, Week 1 was no moon - quarter moon, Week 2 was quarter - half moon, and so on.
I feel so dumb now

For real here, who can I talk to about someone hosting one of my MAP scripts? I can't draw or edit so that kinda rules out me doing it on my own but I would love to see some of these MAPs on YouTube
