the ‘how old were you when you first got drunk’ poll inspired this. the first time I got drunk I was a freshman in high school (14 years old). I played varsity softball bc I was pretty good at the time so my friends were mostly juniors and seniors (17/18). one of them invited me to this party and gave me a ride there, and even though I’d never really gotten drunk before, I lied and said I was soooooooo used to partying and drinking. it was routine for me. old news. and then I did like six or seven shots within an hour and puked on someone’s shoes

my cousin is visiting me rn and she reminded me of how this one time when we were teenagers, we got incredibly high and managed to talk both my mom AND my dad (my parents are divorced) into paying for us to get Dunkin’ Donuts on DoorDash. so like we just had two iced lattes + breakfast sandwiches each, along with two dozen donuts.
