               being trapped at the station was driving hayden INSANE. she sits alone most of the time, avoiding eye contact with any deputies that walk by ( half of them were told to keep a close eye on here by val ). her gaze was usually cast upon the clock at her sister’s desk, watching as the seconds ROLLED by. there wasn’t much to do, and she couldn’t just LEAVE without getting in trouble. hayden had a pack to protect, but she couldn’t be with them half the time because of how protective her own family had been. maybe that was for the BEST. it gave her time to think, but it also SUFFOCATED her. she knew that when she wasn’t at work or with her sister, theo would be on her back about any kind of INFORMATION she’d managed to get a hold of. it was EXHAUSTING.

               ❛ –––– go away. ❜ the words left through CLENCHED TEETH, knuckles tightening as she sensed the presence of someone else. she wants to be ALONE ( for the most part ). the brunette’s head lifts to meet the other’s gaze, head shaking in the slightest before she shifts her attention back towards the ground, the weight of GUILT and REGRET hanging low over head. her mind was foggy, and thoughts were HARD to process. she was feeling EMPTY again.
