May I interest you in a AU where Ryuunosuke becomes a legal aide and is damn good at his job? And if you were interested, how do you think everything would go with this change?

Okay, so, I’m rly bad with headcanons and adding to AUs, but I’m interested so let me babble a bit, if it’s not too much trouble.

Hm... maybe he’d be a bit less nervous like we see in the first case, but still easy to overwhelm. Susato, no wait I mean Ryuutarou mentions how being the one on the defense stand makes your “mind go blank” iirc. So, with that weight off his shoulders, I’m sure he’d keep a more sturdy shell, which just shows more and more as time progresses (I know that part of why he feels so out of place is probably that the absolute madlad has never touched a law book before all of that, but I feel that him being anxious is just part of himself).

Also, I’m sure he’d be able to still put things together and sometimes even blurt his thoughts out, being that it’s just natural for him to point out contradictions and that jazz (u got a legal aide AND a bit of a lawyer all for the price of 1).

AS FOR THE PLOT- eh, not sure, or maybe yeah definitely bc him changing careers would be like, changing history since all Naruhodou bloodline has lawyer screaming in its cells. But maybe since it’s law related it’s not that much of a big deal.

I think his appearances would be more... y’know, instead of his POV would be Susato’s or Asougi’s (I’m guessing you meant it was him being Susato’s legal aide? Doesn’t change if it’s Asougi’s, but the first of the two that came to mind was her bc I want her to shine a bit more !!!)... unless you mean he still gets to be the main protagonist bc oH MAN THAT’S NICE
