An illustration for an open submission on Greek myths. I made this based on the fantastic myth of Tiresias, a man transformed into a woman as punishment for beating copulating snakes with a stick. After 7 years as a woman she is turned back to a man and later on summoned by Zeus and his wife Hera to settle a dispute on who enjoys sex the most males or females. Tiresias was the only one who had experienced both and replies “Of 10 parts, a man enjoys only one”. Hera is so furious she makes Tiresias blind. Zeus cannot undo this curse so gifts Tiresias with seven lives and soothsayer skills.
