OOURUGH this is such a good question and I'm gonna ramble on, thank you!!

So, a couple of examples. For Cain, I think the core of his leitmotif would be very nostalgic and sad. It'd have a real sense of longing to it. But most of the time when you'd hear it, it would be performed with BIG JAZZ or lounge music behind it. So here from Cowboy Bebop you can hear an example of what the core leitmotif would sound like at it's most raw, and then how BIG his music would be otherwise.

anyway, his name is darius, he's a shadow dragon, and the cc didn't have his chase house md cut so i had to improvise.
