It's been a while since I updated you guys on my Ork Stompa project, Biggest Iron. This is several applications of base colors followed by sepia shade washes and going back with the base colors. It still needs a lot of metal chipping and highlights but I'm not sure how much I want to put in the effort. This thing is so cumbersome to paint and I'm already pretty happy with how it is. I think for now I'm going to call him done and if I ever feel like it I'll go back and add more to it. Detail photos under the cut!

For those interested here are the 3d printer files I used that I got on Thingiverse. I can't tell you the exact size because I did a lot of guesswork/reprinting at different scales.

Necromunda last night. Never faced squats before and this was a trap scenario so i didnt want my oponent to really tell me what they did going into it, felt fitting to not really know how to handle this surprise attack.

We were all more or less exposed, relaxing in our favorite watering hole to celebrate when we were amushed by armored children from above.

The first round one of his champions fired a squat bolt gun with rapid fire 2 and got 5 HITS on my Khimerix, 3 wounds with no saves was 6 damage critically injuring her for the start of the fight.

Luckily past that we did pretty well. They tried to open that front door and charge us but bubblegum clogged the doorway and took out both of their charging attackers on the retaliation, getting a 65 and 66 on the OOA, when their champion finally charged her he was able to take her down but she completely messed up their plans and it was just clean up from there.

Happy with how we handled ourselves, especially since this encounter was intended to be unbalanced against us

Starting a mordheim campaign (skaven ofc) and kitbashed more of a warpstone shotgun or short rifle from a jezzail than a pistol for my leader but that works for me.

Also rearranging hobby and warhammer accessory stuff at the store

Necromunda yesterday. Challenged Cawdor to the blood pits they won last time and beat them handily. It helped that we ambushed them, but still.

WIPs from a couple nights ago. I was gonna make them pink but im actually gonna use them for my sisters army and necromunda next campaign (Sisters Venators for Uprising and general hired guns) so i figured id keep them in my order's colors.

Alice and Mol for my Turnip28 regiment are finally done and I'm incredibly happy with how these two came out! This project was a ton of fun and I can't thank everyone enough for the support as they followed it along with me these past few weeks! Now I just need to work on the rest of my army!
