From the book Organizing Solutions for People with ADHD:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Putting a coat on the back of a chair by the door is fine, but if you prefer, use coat hooks and a large catch-all basket for dropping keys, hats, gloves.
Small bookcase end-table next to the couch to store craft projects, books, and other things being worked on for easy access.
Add a storage unit near the dining room table to transition between eating and working there.
Daily toiletry items should be stored in a basket that you can move easily
Extra toiletries and medicine cabinet items go in open shelf/basket storage so they can be seen and used easily. If items no longer fit, purge the excess. Don’t obscure the view!
If you disrobe in the bathroom, place a tall hamper in there.
Keep a set of cleaning supplies in each bathroom

There are so many ways to make moodboards, bookcovers, and icons without plagiarizing! As artists, authors, and other creatives, we need to be especially careful not to use someone else’s work and pass it off as our own.
Please add on if you know any more resources for free images <3

five recipes for an exciting life (in my opinion)
spending enough time creating things with your hands (baking, drawing, scrapbooking, doodling, crocheting, journaling and so on)
keeping track of things like pretty skies, milestones, happy memories, appointments you're looking forward to
listening to music that genuinely makes you feel happy and energetic
making a habit of reaching out to people in a way that's comfortable to you (i send my dad songs he might like, my friend sends me monthly life updates)
being kind to all your five senses → like investing in a scented candle or essential oil dispenser or body mist, having a soft blanket or socks (or a soft animal to pet), listening to birdsong or the rain, looking at the sky more often, and having your favorite foods enough times

This panel is from the Dorohedoro Volume 20 omake (which is all about Shou and him spying on various people).
Dokuga: Being an abandoned child*, I was bossed around by** a magic user who made things like poisonous plants and poisons… That’s how I ended up this way***… I killed them when I was 7 and ran away… Shou: I see. I just killed a magic user myself.
*“abandoned child” is the word 捨て子 (sutego), which means: 1. abandoned child; foundling. 2. Child abandonment. Child abandonment is the practice of relinquishing interests and claims over one’s offspring with the intent of never again resuming or reasserting them. Causes include many social and cultural factors as well as mental illness. An abandoned child is called a foundling (as opposed to a runaway or an orphan).
**“bossed around by” is the phrase こきつかわれていた (kokitsukawarete-ita), which means: 1. to work someone hard; to push someone around.
***“(ended up) this way” is the word 体質 (taishitsu), which means: 1. constitution (physical); genetic make-up; predisposition (to disease). 2. structure (e.g. of an organization); innate characteristics; make-up; nature; culture.
So much Dokuga backstory in just 2 speech bubbles! Dokuga was either an orphan or (more likely) abandoned by his parents (presumably because he couldn’t use any magic?). He was then taken in and/or bullied by a magic user who made various poisonous things (probably with poison magic?), and was exploited until Dokuga himself became poisonous. Remember, there is child slave trade in the magic user world. Clearly this was an abusive relationship since Dokuga had to kill that magic user to escape.
This implies that Dokuga’s poison might not be his own and might not even be magic (i.e. he doesn’t have smoke particles in his blood that carry poison magic), but the result of being used for magical practice and experimentation by a more powerful magic user when he was little. At first I thought maybe the magic user was using Dokuga’s poison to make poisonous things, but the physical/genetic connotations of Dokuga ending up “this way” suggest he underwent a physical change due to his time with the magic user. This would make him a magic user victim just like a human from Hole.
And that actually explains a lot. Dokuga doesn’t use magic in any sense other magic users do. He doesn’t emit any smoke and he can’t control his poison. Nobody else has passive smoke-less magic. So it makes sense that the poison isn’t his magic but a side-effect of something somebody else did to him. Like Haze, who was able to use his experimentation with others’ magic to create a permanent, smoke-less reversed aging effect. Perhaps the magic user was experimenting on Dokuga as some kind of quality control to make sure the poisonous-ness of the items s/he made wouldn’t wear off over time.

Note
where do you buy these dorohedoro stuff generally? i want to buy doro merchandise (there are no doro stuff where i live) they are hella expensive but i want to have some pieces of my fav manga
It really depends on how new, rare, or widely available the thing I’m looking for is. A lot of Dorohedoro merchandise, like the All-Star Directory and the calendars, are very local and Japan-only releases. Those you have to get from people in Japan who put the stuff on auction sites, the most popular being Yahoo! Japan auctions. However, you can’t bid there unless you’re a Japanese citizen, either, so you have to do it through a site which offer proxy bidding services, such as Rinkya. They mercilessly eviscerate you on commission and other fees, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
Other items are made widely available to overseas markets, such as the Yamato and Threezero Kaiman figures. So those you can get on Amazon or sites that sell collectibles. Threezero figure is still new so you can probably find it pretty easily. Yamato figure is out of stock/print now through regular channels, so you have to watch for those on eBay or Japan auctions. Same goes for the head mascots and the gyoza man figures. The non-Limited Edition OST was also available to overseas markets, so you could’ve gotten it on sites like CD Japan (I see it’s out of stock now, so go to eBay or Japan auctions).
The magazines (where the posters come from) and Japanese manga volumes I get from Kinokuniya and have them ship it to me, but you have to get magazines right away since monthly issues go out of print real fast. The posters do occasionally pop up on Japan auctions, which is where I got some back issue posters.
Hope that helps!
