Well..... .....a new ultrasound (yesterday) shows that the DVT in my calf is almost gone and that there are no other clots in my leg. Had a good chat with the Doctor and the increase in pain may be a combination of many things including post thrombotic syndrome (due to damage from the clot), nerve pain (due to change in meds for something else) and/or peripheral vascular disease (due to age and long-term effects of T2 diabetes). The main thing is that the clot is almost gone, there is nothing else wrong with my leg(s) and I can return to exercising starting with something low impact like an elliptical (still no weights since my left shoulder is still damaged). I will discuss the source of the leg pain with my PCP, but I'm fairly sure I know what the cause is now that blood clots have been ruled out. So these locks don’t work when the battery dies!! We were locked out for just over an hour this morning after returning from the bathroom 😱. . Overnight security didn’t have a key, the staff couldn’t get in…had to wait for the maintenance guy, the ONLY person with a key! .
