Concept idea?

So I been thinkin’ ‘bout something last night An acquaintance of mine showed me some fake traced BSD screenshots where they drew their OCs for the series over the original image, just for the hell of it.

They were actually really nice and almost looked like they could be canon, so I got to thinking. Evidently I’m fairly skiled in tracing since I did it all the time when I was just beginning my drawing adventure years ago. I still trace from time to time, but only to get a feel for the anatomy of certain poses before redrawing it all on my own. (I’ll admit, the majority of my tracing lies with hands alone)

Anyway, my point. I feel like I’d be skilled in the “fake screenshot” field, so is that something you guys think would be cool? Fake BSD screenshots with the Literary Angels you’ve become acquainted with?

so what be the deal with dion fortune?

Well, the big main thing about Dion is the fact that she's a priestess. It's the most notable and most important piece of her character and biggest plot within her story-building arc. If you read the first installment of the Bungaku Tenshi Twitter AU (which reminds me, I should make more of them) you would already have a pretty basic idea of her personality, but for the sake of this answer, I'll go a bit more in depth with it.

I've stated she's a priestess, and as such is 1000% serious about church stuff. She's serious and strict, and has no time for any nonsense. Insubordination from her peers is not tolerated and will result in a harsh scolding if you're lucky. If you really piss her off, you'll get a taste of her Ability, which I'll elaborate more on later. She's the type who'll chew you out for the smallest mistake you make, so you're expected to be on your BEST behavior when in her presence. She strictly demands that everyone do their job and they do it right, otherwise she'll never let you hear the end of it.

She isn't necessarily the "social" type, and often refrains from interacting with others outside of work. She dislikes any sort of "fun" atmosphere because she feels like it just leads to chaos and unnecessary noise, but If everyone has already done their jobs for the day, then she won't interfere with any activities going on unless they get out of hand.

Now, more on her Ability. This Ability of hers, The Sea Priestess, allows her to bend and manipulate water to her every whim and desire. She can use it to both heal injuries or just flat out drown sinners and people who get on her nerves. As long as she's in the presence of water, her Ability can be activated at will. The more water in the vicinity, the stronger her attacks are and the more effective her healing abilities become. An added bonus of her Ability is that, when active, it automatically purifies the water and makes it holy. Which is really great since she's also an experienced demon exorcist, so having a vial of holy water around her neck at all times has way more uses than one when it comes to Dion.

A few more random pieces of info; She used to work as a librarian, but got fired after exterminating a demon on the job. She also becomes way more insufferable when she's drunk. It doesn't happen often, but the time she got up on a table and screamed curse words at Fitzgerald for over 45 minutes always has a way of resurfacing at the absolute worst times. Another important thing to note is that she's British. That's really important to her character. Why? It just is. 

She's also an occultist, Chirstian Qabalist, ceremonial magician, and co-founder of the Fraternity of the Inner Light, which is an occult organisation that promoted philosophies which she claimed had been taught to her by spiritual entities known as the Ascended Masters. (I took that last bit straight from Wikipedia since it's real important to her character, almost as much as the fact she's British). 

Also, her peers have a habit of calling her Wheel of Fortune. She hates it.

Certainly! It won’t be as in-depth as the previous answer I did for Pearl, since I haven’t had time to write out everyone into a full masterdocument yet. So it’ll mostly just be me writing it from memory!

For starters, Aleister and Aiwass function together as a duo similar to that of Mori and Elise, with Aiwass being a physical personification of Aleister’s Ability that takes a human form when active. Aleister’s Ability, The Book Of The Law, allows him to summon Aiwass at will, where she can do immense psychic-type and mental-based damage to enemies. His Ability can only be activated when he writes down a certain summoning incantation in his personal journal, almost in the way that Kunikida’s Ability functions. But rather than pulling any old thing from memory out of the journal, it instead summons his number one weapon and companion, Aiwass. 

In terms of personality, Aiwass is the more cheerful of the two, often singing and dancing about joyously, whereas Aleister is quiet and secluded, and dislikes most confrontation. Aiwass may just be a personified Ability, but she is also a Celestial Entity, and is capable of full communication and feeling both pain and emotion, with a complete free will of her own. Her loyalty to Aleister is undying, and she would protect him with her life. 

Both are usually very quiet, and dislike unnecessary confrontation. Aiwass is more open to floating about and making friends, but Aleister usually keeps to himself. When alone with each other, however, Aleister is significantly more talkative and amicable.

The two make a fantastic duo and can inflict intense damage to enemies when threatened, especially when their powers are combined. Aiwass isn’t the only one with a certain type of psychic Ability, after all. 

Oh, and by the way - Aleister may or may not be a vampire, but that’s just between us. ;)

Hi there! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I was dealing with some personal stuff on my main blog. Anyway, I’d love to tell you about Pearl! I actually already had some info written down in a document, so I’ll just copypaste it here.

Personality Overview:Pearl is a sweet, innocent, naive young girl with a love of all things relating to nature. She is always in a cheerful mood, and it seems damn near impossible to bring her down. She spends the majority of her time outside, tending to her garden or walking through nature. She is easily impressionable and should be watched very closely, otherwise she may wander off and not come back - she is horrible with directions, and often gets lost on her way to and from home, resulting in the Guild having to send out almost daily mini search parties to come find her. Usually lead by Hawthorne. She is best friends with Steinbeck and Lovecraft.

Ability Overview:Pearl's Ability, The Good Earth, works in a way similar to Steinbeck's in the way she can control flower and fauna to her every whim. Rather than grow out of her body, however, these flowers and plants seem to bloom wherever she goes magically on their own. This Ability cannot be "turned off", and as such, she leaves a trail of brightly blooming flowers that grow along whichever path she is taking. It is always quite easy to find her when she gets lost or wanders away, as all you will have to do is follow the trail of flowers. These flowers never wilt, and as such, she often uses them to make flower crowns or special bouquets to give out to her friends. Her control of this Ability is somewhat limited, and as such, it is not uncommon for flowers to sprout from the smallest, tiniest cracks in the foundation of her home or any other building she is in.

Other random info:Must be watched carefully - she may wander off and not return. Gets lost easily, horrible with directions. Allergic to dogs. Dislikes coffee. Will cry if you hit her. Often uses her Ability to create flower tornadoes to either do damage or conceal herself from enemy attacks. Ditzy in personality - think Bianca from Pokemon Black and White.Legally an adult, but should be treated as if she is 10.
