VERTUO - a sims 4 custom content collection.

introducing probably my favourite set i've created to date - the vertuo collection. i personally love coffee irl, i don't believe i go a day without it. this idea came about when i unfortunately broke my own nespresso machine ( lol ) and i went a lil crazy for about two weeks before my amazing sister gave me her one.

this set wouldn't be possible without the amazing & talented @littlbowbub, who allowed me to use their home barista machine for the functionality. i personally only ever use that machine as i find the in-game coffees to be boring without overrides.

i personally feel as though this is my most "maxis match" set i've created. from the beginning, i've always tried to create items that seamlessly go with the game style & other cc creators style - wether it be with the overall design or the simlish. i've learned alot in the two years i've been creating cc and i feel super proud of my progress - i hope you all do too ♡

Functional Mannequins Mod

OVERVIEW

There are two versions of this mod: Base Game or Get To Work. Get To Work | Includes original mannequin features + my custom interactions. Note that all mannequins on the lot share outfits, which may or may not be your preference. Base Game | A simplified mannequin that doesn't require any dlc packs. The mannequin outfits are not shared like the GTW version, so you create outfits for each mannequin individually. If you do own GTW, this version also includes the original poses. It doesn't have all the extra interactions like buying, trying on, restocking etc. If you like simple objects with not too many interactions, try this version even if you own Get To Work.

2 Styles: The mannequins have two styles. The first includes feet, the other hides them. 4 New Custom Poses: Neutral, Relaxed, Cool, and Seated New 'View Outfit' Interaction: Includes a new custom 'inspired' buff. Style Influencers may also get an additional 'confident' buff. Increases Style Influencer and Fashion Photographer job performance. For creative/materialistic sims, it can be 'admired' and increase a tiny bit of fun. Mannequin Stand: This (optional) object has a unique footprint and slots that allow you to easily move and display the mannequin.

This mod will be in early access to my lovely patrons first. I appreciate this community so much for giving me the space to explore these ideas. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

Hey Buns, I hope you’re doing well!

This isn’t really a question, but I wanted to share my thoughts about Carmen. I loooove this series — honestly, I love everything you make (you’re one of my favorite Sims content creators). After The Browns, I really thought nothing could top it… but I was clearly wrong.

So, Carmen.

You asked what we think about her and Miguel — and I do love Miguel. He’s so sweet and genuinely cares for her. You can tell he really wants to know her. But Carmen? I don’t think she actually likes him like that. I feel like she likes being around him, likes how he looks at her and how kind he is… but she doesn’t feel the same way. She can’t reciprocate those feelings.

So yeah, I voted for the break-up.

That said… since we like to be messyyy, she can be messy for one more episode before she lets him go 😔🙂‍↕️ (And who knows? Maybe once she heals, they could be something.)

As for Trevor

He was my favorite. But that man cannot do anything right. That one’s on me! Still, I kind of want to have faith in him.

Now Drew.

Drew is fine, cute, and knows what he wants. BUT I think he’s just as messy as Carmen, idk. On their date at the gallery, the man was peeking at Jade — and honestly, it still gives me the ick.

That said, in the last episode, he really showed up as the man he thinks he is. I do feel like he’s into Carmen… but I’m not sure he’s ready to get serious. Maybe accepting the open relationship was his way of being patient or devoted to her?

But honestly? I don’t think so. Not yet.

As for Nico

Carmen feels sad because deep down, she *knows* she wanted her friend’s man. And that guilt is heavy.

And the 1st apartment is the best one I think.

I definitely was giving the sideye to Drew for being a bit interested in Jade, but realistically he doesn't owe Carmen anything especially when she has a big habit of doing it herself. I mean... she was finding his co-worker attractive too, and his girlfriend is right there!

And yeah, Trevor is just Trevor. Carmen has a soft spot for him, and we can see this through their relationship progress (i.e. the sentiments) but I think he is going to end up friend zoned. We shall see though!
