You should have worn your old storm hawks costume
I should not have. Pretty sure that thing got incinerated after I joined anyway.
Besides, I outgrew the uniform a long time ago.

Wait, isn't Anarchis' robes the same as Cyclonis'?
If you'd like to point that out to her, it's your funeral.

Please tell me Cyclonis washed that robe.
Bold of you to assume the Empress does her own laundry.
Technically it was clean, but had been hanging in the closet for so long that all the dust was making my dog sneeze. One of the house keepers managed to get it away from her long enough to make sure it was fit to wear.

If you can handle the heat of this Firebolt Candy, you can have a whole bag of the stuff. Or two chocolate bars.
Think you can handle it? 💥

What's your fav candy?
I'm not too crazy about sweets, but I'm partial to liquorice. Aerrow thinks there's something wrong with me, but that's his opinion.
There's also this really spicy popping candy that I've only ever seen on Cyclonia. "Firebolt Candy" looks like the crystals, is a real hit here and it's funny to see folks from other Terras act like their mouths are on fire.

What is everyone wearing tonight 👀
I've been bullied by a child into going as a Gatekeeper of the afterlife. I'm pretty sure Cyclonis is just dressed up in one of her grandmother's old robes (ew), her brothers are a werewolf and a vampire, Snipe and Ravess are going as each other.
Aerrow and Radarr are dressing up as Storm-Chaser and the Hawk; characters from an ancient champion legend about a man who could herd megastorms.
If I didn't want to deal with one of the Empress's moods, I'd be dressing as Cyclonia's founding champion like I usually do.

Happy Gravenight, let's see how many Talons I can scare the shit out of while trick-or-treating.

Yeah, that... that...
Never again.
How’s life?
Lifes good. It's stressful, though. Keeping an empire running when your ruler is a thirteen year old with a crystal obsession is...difficult sometimes. Especially with a war going on. Dark Ace has it handled, though. He's great at the whole regent business, even if that's not his official title.

Considering that crystal obsession lead to us stealing the Aurora Stone.
I think 'difficult' might be an understatement.

Oh shit, this is a lot of questions to get through. My secretary almost dropped some.
Technology-wise, I'd say we're a bit more advanced than most of Atmos. The Sky Knights might get the manticore's share of Glockencheime's inventions, but we've got our own innovators working on civil projects.
The parts of the Terra that aren't made up of Talon accommodations is mostly civil, with some rural areas on the outer rim. Our industrial zones like factories are off-Terra.
By 'they' I assume you mean the Talons. When the soldiers aren't out in the field but still on duty, they live either in the citadel or the military housing that surrounds the citadel.
There's space for the soldiers to spend their free time, like the library, a few communal rooms, and the training areas can also be repurposed for casual sporting events. If that's not enough for someone, then the capital city is right outside.
We've learned to live with the weather over the centuries people have lived here. It's not that bad, despite what Inside Atmos might try to tell you.
Again with the food questions. I'm not a tyrant, we make sure the food is good and varied. The cooks try to make sure everyone has options, even when they have to work with limited resources.
Unspoken rules... Don't touch Ravess's sheet music, if you steal from the kitchens you're expected to help cook the next meal, and stay out of the deep corridors.
We've got the Talon academies for kids and teenagers, and for fully trained soldiers there are some extra training programs depending on what's needed. You can learn to cook, get some first-aid training, train for a promotion, the works.
The kind of work you do depends on your qualifications.
If anyone has been stealing sweets from the cafeteria kitchens, I don't know about it. I do.
Talons are expected to be mature enough to solve interpersonal disputes in private. But if it leaks out into their work, a superior officer will intervene. No exceptions.

Uuh someone suggested I share pictures of Aerrow and Radarr here. Problem is, these kids hate cameras and even if they didn't, they never sit still long enough for anyone to take a decent photo. But I found these drawings one of the Talons did of them. That counts, right?

Aerrow just got home. Luckily he isn't hurt. A little shaken up though.
Aerrow and Radarr are available for questions!

What is the main food export of Cyclonia?
You guys are obsessed with food. I'm not complaining, but if I didn't know any better, I'd suspect you people of planning to sabotage our agricultural industry.
Terra Cyclonia itself isn't one for food exports. Our climate only really allows for us to produce enough food for ourselves. I suppose we could be known for our mushrooms? And cooking spices. There isn't much farmland except on the outskirts of the Terra, and those tend to focus on either windwheat or sheep farming. And the occasional skoat farm. Everything from that goes to the Terra's population.
I believe one of the main farming Terras in our jurisdiction is a place called Karkinos. I've never been there myself, but I know there's olive groves there, and the climate is mild enough that they can grow a wider range of food, which we have primary access to.

Don't worry, I wasn't talking about you. Snipe and Ravess on the other hand-
What’s the food like in Cyclonia? Do you guys have a cafeteria? Is the menu the same for everyone or do you get a special menu on account of being higher ranked (and more overworked)?
In my totally unbiased opinion (I say with bias), I think the food here is quite good. Cyclonian cuisine consists mainly of curries, flatbreads, anything that can be made in bulk and keeps well. Stuffed mushrooms are pretty popular too. The spicier the better.
There's a cafeteria at every Cyclonian barracks and outpost, the menu depends on what's available. Out on the field, everyone usually gets the same thing, but in places like the Citadel, high-ranking Talons such as myself, Snipe, squadron captains and the like get first pick on things like cuts of meat and quality produce. Some of us cook our own meals in the kitchens that come with our private quarters, or one of the cafeteria cooks makes them something special with the premier ingredients. Which they can thank me for, ungrateful bastards.
