I've gotten way too much into blood types, dont question me BUT

WHAT IF the reason someone does or does not survive being turned into an Ekon has nothing to do with their strengh or some shit BUT INSTEAD wether the Ekon that turns you (GIVES YOU THEIR BLOOD LITERALLY) has a bloodtype that matches yours???

So say an Ekon with type A- tries to turn someone with type B-, the victim dies.

Ekon with type 0+ turns someone with A+, the victim lives.

Meaning apart from their blood quality decinding wether their progeny is an Ekon or a Skal, an Ekon with the type 0- (universal donor) would never fail to create progeny, while an Ekon type AB+ (universal reciever) could only sire someone that also happens to be AB+

seeing as Jonathan has sucessfully sired 5 people from 5 completely different backgrounds (or 4 if you dont count Mary because they're related) it would be very likely, he is 0+/- in that case
