Vera gently reassured the young girl and placed a careful hand on her shoulder, not flinching once from how cold her body was, nor the frost she seemed to emanate. After all, she has withstood the Tsaritsa’s cold and Snezhnaya’s blizzards— the Harbinger can handle a little cold.

“And if worst comes to worst, I can always take the delusion from you if it gets out of control. I’m well versed in handling these little things.”

Vera seemed to have a certain disdain towards the Doctor, but held back any scathing remarks or grimaces remarkably well. Changing the topic helped her from stewing more in her feelings towards Dottore.

When Elphie speaks up in the midst of the silence, Vera opens her eyes again and turns her head to address her with a smile.

“Careful practice and guidance, little snow. A delusion takes time to master. Back then, I wasn’t able to even summon a regular ice cube— so do not rush in learning how it works. That’s how you accidentally accelerate your aging process.”

She then extended the palm of her hand, using her delusion to summon a small snowflake that floated idly.

Seeing that it was simply a child—not to mention one she’s seen before—Vera let her guard down slightly. She took her coat and threw it over her shoulders, standing up and walking towards the rock the young girl was sitting on.

Saying nothing, she simply conjured a small block of ice and sat beside her, eyeing her before putting her coat back down and closing her eyes once more. If this really was the same child she saw before, she won’t prod. For now.

Persona 5: Royal Counterpart— Blythe Yoshizawa!

Hello everyone! I’m so sorry for being inactive on this account and others, I’ve been trying to find the motivation to work on them and interact with fellow blogs.

But during that time, I was in the process of making a Google Doc for your beloved Masked Fool’s P5R counterpart! It’s the story of how they, Blythe Yoshizawa, acquired their Persona and joined the Phantom Thieves in their righteous journey of stealing hearts!

And literally just now, I finished the second chapter! I hope you guys will take the time to read it, I worked hard on writing it and brainstormed a LOT on how to fit this into the P5R timeline, lol.
