Genshin Roleplayers Wanted!

Hello!! We are looking for some people that want to join a friendly roleplay community!

We have a lot of writing to choose from! From headcanons to writing prompts to actual roleplaying with 1 or a group of people!

Our rules are simple!

-Be at least 18+! We currently don’t have a NSFW channel and do not plan on implementing one.

-Use discord! We use the server as a sort of home base but all of our roleplaying is forum based with a link to help you get set up once you’re in!

-We ask that you send at least one roleplay reply every 14 days to keep up with activity so your partners aren’t left hanging! Everybody is playing one character so we try to keep it fair as far as staying active in case someone wants to write for a character that’s inactive.

Feel free to shoot me a message on discord (@/theupover) if you want to join! I hardly check tumblr messages so discord will be the best bet. Just let me know what character you’re interested in. This is a very lighthearted server. Your character interpretation is completely up to you!

Because this is a roleplay server, please be prepared to send a sample of your writing with a minimum of 100 words as this is our word count minimum for roleplay responses. Many of us write much more than this though!

HE WHO HOLDS THE WILL OF THE HUNT welcomes those who enter the world of ships that sail the stars, existing amongst an endless sky—fit for those with an unending, immortal lifespan. A space of only a few legends, for what legends is there to create among those who do not die.

One of those legends hold order in one of the grand hexafleets of the Xianzhou, a high figure of Xianzhou Alliance, a fierce wielder of what remnants of the Reignbow Arbiter had; General Jing Yuan, Seat of The Divine Foresight.

He stands clear as day, motionless with the end of his glaive nestled inside his palm, the sharp end bastioned infront his figure as he watches his Cloud Knights with a determined, yet melancholy gaze. He stands tall and proud, but only those who were once closes to him—only know what weight he had dealt with in his long, long immortality.

Be warned, aloof and lazy he may seem, the conflict inside him, swirling along with the mara that resided in his form, measures to something similar of an ongoing, everlasting war.

You never know what treachery the Arbiter General is hiding, even amongst the stars and those who created it—will never be able to know what lies deep in his cursed, trifling longevity.

For this young(most definitely in the eyes of a Sovereign Dragon like Apep) girl with pointed ears, it was definitely weird, going out so far into.. well, anywhere, on her own. Normally she'd travel with her grandma.. but alas, she wasn't here right now, and she itched with teenage rebellion to go off on her own.

Which is how the girl found herself in the middle of Sumeru's desert. But how had the girl found herself deep in a cavern underneath the waves of sand? No idea. All she knew was that she was there and that it was surprisingly bright. With only a small wooden stick in hand the girl fiddled with a strand of hair, anxiously venturing deeper into the pit.

A soft buzzing could be heard throughout the cavern, bouncing off the walls and seemingly floating through the air.

As the girl ventured deeper, the terrain shifted from the arid desert environment into a lush oasis, filled with exotic and ancient plants. The oasis air was dense in Dendro energy, and amongst the lush underground oasis stood a tall, humanoid person.

Apep's scaled and pointed ear twitched at the sound of buzzing. It seemed someone finally decided to take their open invitation to their oasis as genuine.

The ancient sovereign smiled, absorbing some of the passive elemental energy to hide their more draconic features... Or, at least, the tail and talons.

Today was a very strange day.

A child, one looking no older than 10-13 years old, seems to have fallen into the Fortress of Meropide. There wasn't a hole in the Fortress as people checked, witnesses just claimed they saw a boy fall down from the ceiling while screaming bloody murder all the way down. There were no records of the boy as a prisoner, nor even just records of the boy in Fontaine in general.

Said boy is currently in the infirmary with Sigewinne, a bruise on his head after hitting the ground, and is still knocked unconsious.

Today was a very strange day, indeed..

Once he was done documenting this incident he will go and check the infirmary personally.

Prison was no place for a kid, he knows first hand why. Although he did his best to reform the place, it's still a long way towards what he envisions as a place of redemption.

He trusts that if something is up Sigewine will let him know right away.

He hopes it's just something related to a leyline disorder since the Fortress is right on top the primordial sea and not something worse...

Apep startled slightly at the sudden appearance, serpentine eyes slitted and ganoid scales around their face and tail flared outwards.

Apep coughed out of embarrassment of the display, transforming into their smaller, bipedal form to properly speak to this strange non human.

"My apologiessss for that. You said you were lost?," the ancient dragon inquired, tilting their head. Since the puppet was quite small, even in her humanoid form, Apep crouched down in order to match his eye level.

"Currently, you are in my oasis in the desert of Sumeru.... Hm. Your clothing style is reminiscent to a style my sworn sibling, Orabashi, had once favored, so are you are quite a ways away from 'home', as the saying goes?"
