When it comes to your business no one knows it better than you. This can be both a problem and a blessing at the same time.

Because when you own your business then you’re really close to anything that happens. You’ll always have an opinion that’s based on what you think people should do. Rather than what your customers would say.

It’s like you eat, sleep, and breathe your business. Which by the way is great but it can lead to problems especially in product development. I recently read an article on successful business habits and one of the habits was to learn from the past.

It seems like when something goes right in a business people are all good and smiles everywhere but then when things go wrong they get down. They don’t know how to relate to problems and such that their company could be facing.

If that sounds like you then you likely need to take a vacation and relax a bit to recharge your batteries. Step away from your business a while and try to look at it from a different direction.

By doing so you’ll not only get a better understanding of how your business operates but it can give you that fresh perspective that means so much.
