If you’ve been around for a while, you KNOW I can never decide on a persona design EVER LMAO. However, I think this guy is someone I’d definitely stick with for a while.

Meet Rye! (pretend I included that in the ref sheet LOL.)

A cool and chill fish guy who doesn’t talk much but has a very silly look on his face and I love him. He probably skates on a surfboard-styled skateboard, wears sunglasses, and drinks lemonade on a hot day.

He doesn’t say much other than make funny noises or say singular sentences on occasion. He’s the kinda guy who loves listening to and spending time with others.

He just stands there and emanates a very chill and warm energy.

He’s some kinda fish mutant creature dude that breathes air apparently. Used to be a very tiny fish that only swam in water, and now he’s just, a land fish. The lore implications with this one is immaculate.

A lot of people asked for a persona reference for my birthday on the 10th, so I wanted to put this out there. :-] Enjoy my dudes!!

omg how did u know I was thinking about this trio today. tony would look at valentines day and be like I dont want to ask anybody I dont want to be asked and then bristle at the idea of Gregory going w someone and cassie would clock him like are u jealous? hes like what no. I dont even like valentines day idc. cassies like u so are and she gets him to tell her his weird feelings about valentines day that he doesnt want to go with SOMEONE ELSE and he doesnt really want to go at all but the idea of Gregory going with someone else he doesn't like. but someone else means himself was in the picture the entire time. then cassies poking him like omg ask him ask him. best wingman

High School Era Tord - His main look from 2004-2008

A quick break from drawing the Creatures and share my high school design for Tord. :-)

High school was one of Tord’s toughest periods. Having to live with his mother, moving to a completely new country, and learning a completely new language wasn’t by all means easy for Tord. That, along with being conflicted about his gender identity, affected his mental health during high school.

He was often a quiet kid in class. He never really spoke much to anyone else in his class, being introverted and being self-conscious about his English.

In a way, when he met Edd, they both got along because of that. They were both introverts, they liked drawing, and were complete nerds. Tord was more fluent in Norwegian, but had to learn English when he moved. Similarly, Edd’s second language was also English, since he’s from the Philippines. Edd was also figuring out his own gender identity like Tord, and Tord felt welcomed knowing there was someone like him. :-)

Edd soon welcomed Tord into his small group of friends, Tom and Matt. They were all dudes that never really fit in anywhere, your average group of dorks. They all bonded over their silly niche interests, and got into trouble a LOT. Then if you’ve seen my posts, you know that’s where their lifelong relationship began. From friends to whatever they are in the present HAHA!

The biggest thing he got out of moving to the UK, however, was being able to meet and befriend Edd, Matt, and Tom, the guys that managed to stick with him to the very end, and later into adulthood, became his loved ones.
