I'm curious 🧐 what's the worst and what's the best fandom you guys have ever been in?
#worst was one direction.#i was 100% Going Through It when that was my thing. my stories from that time are insane.#honorable mention for worst is it 2017 to 19. if 1d was more normal the it fandom would have won easily here.#they were Not kind and trans ppl don't exist there unless they're a stereotype hah :)#best... star trek. easily#it's so nice to see fandom so old that if you're there for longer than a couple years you just get weird with it#trekkies make sweaters y'all. trekkies infect you with the need to sew a tribble or 15 just for fun. which is how earth tribbles happen ofc#trekkies will make silly playlists entitled shit like Jim Kirk's Super Serious Bridge Playlist#and it's full of total eclipse of the heart and showtunes and also anaconda by nikki minaj#trekkies will whisper words they learned in fictional alien languages to themselves and then smile. fuck i love trekkies

recent google searches include how to tell a fic writer that like, i know this surprise pregnancy is a surprise as like, a plot thing that took several chapters to set up and is clearly a thing You were writing towards but like, people like me can get pretty triggered by that kinda thing & even though i feel basically comfortable still with this fic i am wondering if i need to see myself tf out & i'm kinda upset about that possibility because like, i would have known i would have something coming if it had been tagged like at all and like, i don't wanna be mad but you tagged absolute minimum like more characters than anything about the story like ohhhhh it's a fix-it ohh there's like canon divergence or whatever ohhhhhhkay but nothing else of use and so here i am. a third of the way through. and she's pregnant! like my dear writer you Are pulling this off so far but you could very easily lose me soon and i'm kinda pissed that i couldn't get a bit of warning but i don't wanna tell you to spoil your own fic but i also didn't wanna read pregnant fic. so
