Maybe it is always like this. We are granted these tiny windows of time, these small pockets of space, where nothing else intrudes. Maybe that's all we can ever hope to get, together. And maybe, just maybe, it will be enough.

Even when we actually meet and talk to a person we don't really know what's going on in their heads and if they are living the moment just the way we are. It's one of the reasons why I prefer reading books to watching movies, there's so much going on inside the heads of characters which can only be understood when they are described and we can't see it all in movies. And reading this book made me feel that if we start doing it in our own lives too, writing down our experiences, we can process it better and understand ourselves.

We read the entire story from the letters the characters exchange between each other. And at some point the letters cease being just letters and become more of a diary entry that they let the other to read and this brings them way closer than any calls or text messages could ever do.

Why climb mountains when you are not ready to?

Why do we have to toil to be successful? It isnt really illegal to take the easy route. Do what we are good at from where we are comfortable. Who even came up with the concept of glory lying outside of our comfort zone? If we really need to excel wouldn't it be easier when we are feeling in our element? Constantly being on the edge will only tire us down in the long run. And when we lose our edge we fall far deeper down we wouldn't even know if we could survive that fall.

Ofcourse we all work to get what we want. But when we do it with passion what we do will feel effortless to us and that's how it looks on the outside too. But just because it looks effortless doesn't mean no effort was put in the making of our product. And just because it looks easy on us doesn't mean we are doing something wrong. This society has come up with this twisted concept for just one reason. To take away our hardwork and replace it with luck. Noone is really that lucky. Passion is just another word you use for hardwork when you actually love the job you do.

So stop calling someone lucky for winning what they deserve. And stop punishing yourself by taking the rough way when you know the easy way will work just as fine too. Remember you found the easy way because you were looking for it and not because you got lucky. After all the easy way doesn't just show up on your doorstep, does it?
