do u think any of ford's 12 phds are in a humanity? he clearly loves art and identifies as a writer. would he hate to get a degree in it because of the rigidity/control the curriculum has? like with sciences and maths there IS a "right way," but with humanities quality is about passion, vision, skill, interaction with the audience etc. there is no objective Good or Bad. would he take some classes and get so pissed off he'd never go back? or would he get a phd in one just out of spite and leave the department a war zone?
