Being the only bi cis guy amongst almost exclusively trans friends and peers is wild because in theory its like im living in a horny manga where all of a dudes friends turn into hot babes, but in reality they are hunting me like the last bison on the prairie. 5 years ago I mentioned bionicle and one of them asked when I was starting estrogen.

While Diana is absolutely willing to fight (and sometimes kill) her enemies, I think it’s really notable that her post-Crisis introductory arc climaxes with her showing Ares the truth about the reality of violence in the nuclear age and inspiring him to stop his war in favor of peace. The themes of truth and mercy are the core of some of the best Wonder Woman comics, and the foundations were laid here.

People talk all the time about autistic people not understanding others but there's also the accursed autistic "saying exactly what you wanna say, straight to the point, very little nuance & then people misinterpret it because they assume there's a hidden nonliteral meaning" phenomenon

thinking about the part in batgirl 2000 where babs and bruce are arguing about whether or not the video of cass's first murder is real or not. the fact that bruce went directly to the source of the video (cain) and didn't ask if it was faked but rather how. the fact that cain told him to his face that it was real and bruce still refused to believe it. the fact that babs believes it's real and still loves cass and tells her that it was not her fault. the fact that bruce cannot accept that cass is a killer, because he refuses to believe that someone who has taken a life could ever be as dedicated to the mission as cass is. the fact that cass's dedication stems directly from her desire to never see anyone experience what the man she killed experienced in his last moments.

I love the detail that a female reporter named Wonder Woman. Perez’s run was so good at centering women and it was written in the fucking 1980’s

Three things about this:
I love when Diana as an ESL speaker is acknowledged in canon
I love when Diana being really fucking smart is acknowledged in canon
English is a bastard language that gives native speakers difficulty, lmao
