Hello B! ( @butterrdream ) thank you for indulging me as always! I've been wanting to ramble about this two for awhile now! No grammar checking we die in this hill.

( 11. ) What their first impression was of each other ╰┈➤ Miruku flickers into existence, faint at first, benign until he wasn't. ( It seems to be a trend, that unprompted rooting he always does. Unnervingly, it's as easy as breathing. ) Kawahira didn't care, in that way you don't care about many things ⸻ in that way you don't know the chicken whose egg got taken so you can eat your breakfast, but he was the first to notice anyway, the fading, the withering, that something is wrong with the egg. But as they say! Waste not and want not. He can work with this. Kawahira flickered in that same way, faint and dim, but not entirely forgetful. Miruku will not be able to recollect how they've met, but he remembers how it felt. It is familiar, a heavy hearted recognition : Have you lost something before? Lost but you know it should have been there, so you look and look and look, but you don't find it anyway and when you do, find it I mean, it had been too long ago that you find no relief in it, that you're disappointed somehow? Kawahira felt like that. His yours but you found him a little too late.

( 14. ) What nicknames they call each other ╰┈➤ On most days it's 'You' & "Child' , like he's purposely avoiding saying his name. On worst day's he is "Reborn's" , spoken in a tone too cruel for any child to hear, like it's Miruku's fault somehow. Sometimes, out of earshot and ironically, only when Miruku grew into an adult, he is 'little one', like how Kawahira used to call Ipin. For Miruku, he is just Kawahira, without honorifics but with the same affection as he says most names and then . . . the nonsense that comes out of his mouth, expected yeah? " Checker Face? but like, What kind of Checkers though? Like Damath? Damath Face? Or Dameo? or Pool? Can we play on your forehead? I think there is space. " Leave it to Miruku to get exceedingly creative with board games. "You should be called monopoly, on the account you monopolized and a bi--."

What did the True Earthlings looks like when they were younger? Or were they always just adults?

Hello!! Sorry for the late response!! So, I’m not sure if you’re asking this as a general statement or just for my ocs but I personally have the True Earthlings be babies, children, teens and then eventually adults! They just age at a much slower rate!

As for how they looked!! This is my rough idea of what my ocs looked and were like as kids!! (Sorry it’s so rushed I drew this between study breaks and with a bad flare up lol)

in the top right we got Alder, overall very happy child who grew up very carefree! at the bottom we got crybaby Celina... She's just got a lot of feelings! And in the top left we got [Redacted], who's a bit of a brat (and also kind of a cry baby). The kind of kid who would act out to get attention.

And then we also have [Nameless] who was too lazy to add <3 And those are my earthling kids!!!

So, maybe you are asking yourself this? Where does this even come from? Well, my friend it's because I've encountered the audio of this scene multiple times while doomscrolling through insta reels and the last time I watched a video edit based on it I went like: "Wait, isn't this super Reicore???" I wanted an animated short with the audio and Rei so bad, but alas 😔 I can't animate for shit so I put the entire thing on hold. However! I was bingereading a bunch of webcomics in the recent weeks and I stared at all the pretty art in envy.

Me: I want to draw comics too, goddammit!! Brain: Well, why aren't you doing it then, dumbass? Me: Omg, you are so right brain!

Proceed me deciding to start drawing this comic a few days ago only to remember that the release date of KHRe was approaching, so I went into grind mode BECAUSE I WILL FINISH THIS AS A PRESENT FOR THE WEBCOMIC RELEASE OR DIE TRYING 🫵😈/j /lh So yeah I applied speedrun strats so that I could post this on release date and even if you technically posted the first chapter yesterday in my timezone IT'S STILL THE 27TH HERE RIGHT NOW SO I MADE MY DEADLINE!!

Anyways to the comic itself: I had quite fun drawing it! I experimented with the art style again and for once I actually did the hard shading without hating it afterwards so huge win! Fun fact: naturally the last panel took the longest cause it involves a kinda full body and a pose that I can only call: "what the actual fuck dude?" but! The panel that annoyed me the most was the fucking coin panel because by God shading this fucking coin in a way that I liked took so fucking long 😭😭😭 In the end I just kinda ditched following the reference and winged it but dude the amount of time I spend on this is frankly embarrasing.

All in all, I gotta say I gained even more respect to all comic artists out there which I didn't even think was possible. Cause... I just kinda redrew an anime scene with six panels and that was already an ordeal. Yet there are people out there pumping out full chapters weekly??? Fucking insane man, you guys are all wizards 😭😭

i’d like to start something... big, in the near future. but to tell you about it, I need a little more time so I have something to show. for now, I only have sketches with Murakami's siblings for something. i finally decided on the style of eyes and face I'd like to draw, because my fickleness in style annoys me a lot, hahahahaha hope you don’t mind by struggles i’ve always wanted to make my eyes a little more expressive and detailed, but it never quite worked out for me 😩😩😩😩 okay we will try

infesting the estate with roach!!

Unfortunately for roach Miruku, the estate is guarded by a very passionate group of role/playe-- I mean, maids and butlers. Though the butlers are not here right now, the most important thing is that Rosa is here and she's all they'll need to handle this invasion!

Info: I can't remember if I've mentioned this before, but Rosa's scythe is disguised as a regular mop for her daily use. This design is not the final one though.

But unfortunately for Rosa, roach Miruku landed on the head of his found peepaw (who is actually aware but chose to go along with it for entertainment purpose). Now how can Rosa squash this roach if it's resting on her master's head??? Much to think about for her hahaha
