I think for your audience this fits. I don't think you need to change anything.
Original Content Week 12 3/3
Tumblr media
On this slide, I am looking for feedback on how my tone is in relation to education on social media instead of being very formal like in the academic sense.

Im glad you had better luck than me. I think doing music is a good pick, mine was more a niche videogame community which made video creation harder.
Original content-writing
How did content creation go for you? What did you learn that will help you write about your tips & tricks?
I am not fully finished with my project yet, but the content I am creating is actually very similar to the creators I researched. For this project I decided to create an edited video to present my findings. The format of the video is different from that of the creators, but still bears resemblance. It felt like I'm creating content exactly like what/how these creators do which makes it much easier to come up with tips and tricks. To share, since I researched music critics on YouTube, one of the main driving factors for views is actually the artist itself. So I suggested that they should make multiple types of videos for that artist as to decrease the inconstancy of views between each popular artist review.

Maybe make a video showing off how to utilize this. It might help them to understand what you are trying to say.
Original content-writing
Post an image of an element of your How to Write Guide that needs input from your peers. Tweet an image AND request the feedback you want.
I met with Dr. Pfannenstiel on a zoom meeting last week so I could better understand this project. She explained to me what I needed to do but I always feel like I sometimes misunderstand or misinterpret projects. This is a section from my project explaining my goal for the How to write guide. I just essentially want to know if I'm on the right track and if there is anything I am missing or should tweak in this brief explanation I have. If it helps, the context of my video just goes over findings from my data and elements from the content analysis essay to support the "Most replayed" feature I discuss below.

post a tip or trick you are offering in your guide that is useful to all of us!
For anyone that has a seasonal type of creator, looking at their content and assessing new ways to generate content is the best for this. Most of the creators I did has just repeated content in the off time so I wanted to add more to what they do. Maybe challenges they do instead of reactions.

how will you integrate your created content so it's meaningful in your How to Write Guide?
I will add the knowledge from the content analysis to show them how they should focus their groups. Show them what works based on the numbers.

how are you rethinking style to design your How to Write Guide for a content creator audience?
I am making it more direct and personal leaving out the more analytical notes. I am just more speaking directly.

what does your final revision process look like?
My process looks like taking the feedback then putting it in where I can. I am not the best at this, I am better at business writing honestly, but this format is sometimes strange to me.

what assignment questions do you have that will help you complete the H2WG assignment successfully?
You said in my proposal it should be shorter than I had, is what I have now better, or do I need to add more, I have a powerpoint with slides with bullet points is that okay?

I think its a good idea, It adds more fun to it and since they are probably used to reading recipes it wouldn't be as hard for them.
Original Content Week 10 2/3
How will my audience influence the design of my HTWG?
I am not sure if I am aloud to format it this way, but I would love to set up each conclusion as if it was a recipe. Since my content creators are chefs. I won't do this but, I will make sure that it is quick and easy to read so that they can read it quickly and execute it properly.

I think interaction rate is crucial but based on what metrics? Do you include all forms of interactions or simply views and likes? I think it is good that you have the % metric, but it would be nice to know what all that contains.
Original Content Writing
what elements of data matter in your space? why?
The main key element of my data is the % at the end that indicates the interaction in rate. My essay is analyzing a few key points that all involve the interaction % of the audience. One of my main points I'm researching is how a certain post cause certain reactions within the audience. Naturally this % basically informs me of how the audience has reacted to and engaged with a post. Does it have high interaction rate? Does it have a lower? Why? This simple % at the end tells me everything I need to know.

For me there were not as many comments that directly effected the content. So it is not a big aspect for me, but I'm glad to see others that are able to utilize this.
Original Content Post 2
what is data within your space? How does this impact your analysis? #writ318mu #week 10
The data that surprised me the most was comments. I knew that views was going to be a big part of my analysis of youtube videos but having the data on comments has also been valuable to my analysis. Though I think in some ways it may have also contributed to complicating my analysis. I’m still working through my research question, and I want to make sure I’m proving how the data proves or disproves what I’m seeing. I’m working hard to make sure that the comments data isn’t overshadowing what I’m already working on, and instead adding to it.

I feel the same way about zombies youtubers. It is easier to identify the audience in a niche in comparison to a more liked and followed topic. I also feel I can make a well made htwg.
Original post
Because the content creators I am covering are science-fiction/ fantasy book tubers I will try to implement those elements into my HTWG. As someone who loves and respects the genre, I plan to have fun with the designing process and make sure it represents the space and the audience as best as possible. The niche of these specific book tubers makes it easier to target the appropriate audience as only people who love, like or, at least, show interest in sci-fi/ fantasy, meaning i feel comfortable that designing my HTWG in that way will be appreciated and appropriate.

what elements of data matter in your space? why?
The elements that matter most are the video type, and views. Although Likes and comments are a factor the overall key points is how many views do they gain by the type of content they put out.

what is data within your space? How does this impact your analysis?
My data is based on views to type of content. This impacts my analysis as I need to show how the different content types do in comparison to each other. It is necessary to show these things in order to build a complete methodology on the how to write guide.
