This took months to make

I had to learn freaking programming to bend after effects and premiere pro to my will (of absolute control over the animation and export of every word in a caption).

Wanted to translate the awesome audio experience of @worldsbeyondpod into video for a while. Turns out the available tools for text animation are so underdeveloped I had to make my own, so that I can do justice to the source material... Anyways, I'm one step closer to animating my absolute favorite 20 minutes of fiction - when the wizard, the witch and the wild one meet @quiddie's uncle Sly, the most important person in Citadel and international wizard of mystery.

Ok, I overindexed on Stromae a bit. When Pomme joins the chorus and then takes over the second half of the song, her lyrics matching the tragedy we know these two go through - the entanglement of what was, what ekko is trying to do, and this "perfect" alternate reality - is also why the song hits so hard...

Oh, y'all got teary-eyed about Ekko and Powder? Well here's a thing those perfect French assholes at Fortiche Studios added that makes it hit so much worse : they got Stromae to make the themesong, called it "my best enemy", put it into the show without subtitles, then put it on youtube and blocked captions so that you don't auto translate it.

I translated it for you. You're welcome and I'm sorry...

Ok I'm not the only one who saw Arcane s2e6 before all hell breaks loose and though that this very much gives "The Clearing" vibes of @worldsbeyondpod , when *SPOILERS FOR BOTH*

Broken down Jayce blasts Viktor and all the people under his care whale and wither - that's the visual representation of bloodied Ayden Crutcher slaying the Crowned Panther and all the spirits of the glade moving into the beyond?

I'm not alone seeing that, right?

Note to self : clip a side-by-side of the astounding 100 roll that Lou performed, going super saiyan on @quiddie on mismag s2e8 and the moment from ExU Calamity where Laerryn made the laywrite work with a solar's bow and Lou was covering his face as Nydas shouting "oh, it's beautiful" - that seemed like a symmetrical moment. (I didn't have time to find it yet)

Note 2: the pretentious lion door knocker from the start of Arc 4 of @worldsbeyondpod is the same door knocker on Laerryn's door that shouts "madam, your ex-husband is at the door" on Calamity e.1, voice tone and all
