It’s Yixing’s instagram. If he wants to post a picture of him with Sehun, he should be able to. But there are factors to consider.

The management around him may have made him take down the picture because they were fearful of the black flash. He might have taken it down because he was afraid of going against the image he has to keep for his country because of THAAD, which would not only cause him to get into trouble but possibly also Sehun and all of EXO. He might have just taken it down because he just didn’t like it. We don’t know because we aren’t there behind the scenes and we will most likely never know.

Now with that being said, here’s what really matters: the people who are going after Yixing with there harmful and hurtful comments that stand behind the beliefs and view of OT8 are wrong to do so. It is not fair or right to hurt someone, especially someone like Yixing, who was put in a difficult situation in his career and had to do what he had to do with what was offered to from SM Entertainment due to circumstances out of his control. He could have very easily and understandably left EXO if he and the company truly did not want to go the trouble, which can be done as we have all seen before. But he has chosen to stay with EXO. Why? That’s only for him to know and to deal with, rather personal or not. It is also only for him to share or not, and we should only respect his decision, rather it goes with our beliefs or not.

If you were his true fan, who respects him as an adult and an artist who is well equipped to make his own decisions about his life and career, you should never attack him in such an embarrassing and brutal way for the whole world to see. No one deserves to be harmed like that in such a public platform, much less from a fan who claims to love him dearly. If you are truly and deeply concern for him, you should not do it in this manner. This type of behavior already discredits you and everything you want to say and believe because no one will listen to a person who is willing to go to such low ranks to get their message across, especially when they are hurting the same person they are trying to save. This isn’t right. Period.

I just want to encourage everyone to be more carefully on there social media, to fully think about what they are about to type and express out for the whole world to see. I don’t think the OT8 Stans had the malicious intent hurt Yixing like they did, but they did, and this is just another reminder of how harmful social media can be if not handle maturely and properly. Please remember that they’re are actual people with actual emotions behind these posts and screenings. Your words can hurt someone for the rest of there lives, to the point it could change them completely. If that isn’t enough of a reason for you to think more about everything you say and read on social media, rather you are a celebrity, a citizen, OT12, OT9, or even OT8, then you are not responsible enough to be here because of your carelessness for others.

Lastly, I would like to encourage everyone to send more love and kindness to Yixing during this time. I would also like for everyone to remember that they don’t know everything that goes on in EXO’s lives and how or why they do what they do, but despite this, we should respect them regardless, because we love them, and that’s all the reasoning we need.
