Y'all correct me if I'm remembering wrong but no one remembers anything about who they were before ending up in the digital circus not even their names (at least this was the case for pomni?) so the fact that kinger's remembers so much about queener and his life before ( queener's job , his 7 years in computer science, him hating bugs but queener making him like them these all indicate to me that they were involved way before ending up in the digital circus I mean they obviously didn't get their diplomas in the circus no?) is interesting and with the computer science comment too he's got to have something to with how this digital realm all started or some other important difference right??? Like it was such a good episode with longer and pomni it was so emotional and human and I love it too but nobody seems to talk about the significance of "before digital circus" comments of kinger

as funny as it is to say, "theres's no such thing as a fish" is not actually true

"science doesn't know what a fish is" is really not true

"fish" is not a monophyletic category. there is no common ancestor of everything that we call a "fish," and none of the things that we don't

"fish" is a paraphyletic category -- and a useful one! marine biologists use it! "fish" describes a general body plan and lifestyle. it is useful to be able to talk about coelacanths and tuna in a shared category, though coelacanths are more closely related to us than to tuna.

where this bugs me is the repetition of the idea that "scientists" are hidebound and uncreative, unable to comprehend anything that doesn't conform to a specific idea of categorization -- when this is fundamentally untrue! we know perfectly well what a "fish" is. the fact that it's a paraphyletic group is only confounding to pop science, as a funny factoid, not to anyone who actually understands what a paraphyletic group is.

Hi what brush or setting do you use to get that light colour to darker line variety in your sketches ? It gives such a cool look to your art

bad news, I use paint tool sai 2, we dont really do brush sharing here.

good news, that doesnt matter cuz this isn't a brush at all! this is all just lighting and modes!

now it becomes different colors depending on the opacity! :]
