I was inspired by this post by @thecatslug to doodle some new outfits for Ismark and Ireena, with more of a medieval Slavic vibe than their canon designs. I tried to maintain their color schemes and general vibes… although I think I took more inspiration from “how my dm played them” than I did from their art in the module, haha

Since the update way long ago, we have since added Ricktavio and Kasimir to our flock. They have a BIG 62” flight cage now haha!

Tavio we rescued in September after his last cagemate was killed. He warbles the most of all of them, but is the least trusting. I don’t blame him after he lost 5 cage mates one by one ): long story short, don’t buy birds for your kids, and don’t leave the cage outside unsupervised.

Kasimir we adopted in early January from a rescue nearby. Like how gane Kasimir is missing his ear tips, our Kasimir is missing one of his toes! We didn’t notice until after we decided on a name, which was pretty ironic of a discovery.

I got two baby budgies 🥰 introducing Ireena (left) and Ismark (right). 

They’re ~7 weeks old (got them on Sunday? Monday?), were hand-raised so they’re very hand-tame. Ireena? Excellent flyer, I can call her name if she’s on her playstand and she’s getting good at flying over to my hand if I’m closer enough. She can effortlessly hover in the air and navigate. Ismark? He’s…..definitely Ismark the Lesser. I’m so sorry buddy but you suck at flying and I often watch you miss the perch and flutter to the bottom of your flight cage 😔

Also we don’t know if they’re girls, boys, or one of each! Might have them DNA sexed, or just wait until they’re ~a year old for their ceres to change color.
