“Pieces of His Remaining Memories”
- Busa, Jerry Jr.
When I was a kid
My dad works hard everyday
So he can give all we need
Standing beside the door, waiting for him to leave
Everytime I hear a sound of motor
I always think of my father with a toy
Despite the pain, he endure it all
How I wonder how he went through it all
My father is as strong as a rock
but every person has a clock
time we never expect to come
the day I was standing at the door waiting for him to come
Waking up by wails of tears
I wish I'll wake up in a long dream without tears

“Memoirs of a Murderer”
- Caasi, Zallyn
BANG. I fiddled with the trigger— silence
I run, along with the howls of the dogs
The midnight sky was glowing; I feel tense
I run—ran through the depths of the thick fogs
Blood in my hands, no— he had it coming
He wasn’t supposed to be there anyway
Thoughts blurry, still in the fogs, dawn cracking
He had it coming, I can thoughts array
BANG. The judge hit the gavel; court adjourned
Hands cuffed, wearing orange, I was sentenced; not guilty
I was escorted, my stomach churned
It was funny— I felt alive, I am free
These are memories I keep from others
Only I should know about the slaughter

“Everything's fine”
- De Guzman, Louisa
I held onto every whispered word they say
That I kept and engraved under my breath.
Coping wasn't slipping in my way,
Left me lying drowned in the land of depth.
Thought I might find the line and call it fine
But ends with carving lingered wounds
That never seen the sign in the stars align
And earned a bottle of crestfallen sounds.
Embracing the flow of silence every night
That turned every heartbeat frozen.
Scattered lights are out of sight,
Not even once became part of chosen.
Sinking the feelings that I've missed,
Led me walking into the lake of the abyss.

“Looking back”
- Fenderson, Curtis
All the memories of the past
I don’t wanna go back I felt attacked
Scared to know what made me like this
Wondering what I have missed
The past we can’t outrun
It’s over and it’s done
I can’t see at all even if I could it’ll all be gray
Making me suffer all I have to do is pray.
All my mistakes before
Made me grow and learn more
Now is what matters
It’s time to learn from my mistakes
The opportunities that I didn’t take
Time to take a step with no regrets.

“Reborn”
- Flores, Chynna Faith
I heard a loud noise
As I close my eyes
And I remember, The day that we met
Is the day I fell.
I still remember
How you move and walk,
How we dance and talk.
All those memories,
That came back at me
After my eyes closed.
I tried to open,
But nothing happened.
I see a bright light.

“Chère Jeune Moi”
- Galang, Carl Jaspher
Thou shall smile like a rainbow in the sky
Thou shall have a grin, may thy keep it in
Thou shall see world beautiful, chin up high
Thou shall maintain innocence as it’s been
Thou shall play like there is no tomorrow
Thou shall live like thee will not live amain
Thou shall laugh like thee never feel sorrow
Thou shall step outside and play with the rain
For thou let cries out and seek short of doubt
For thou do not have problems to ponder
For thou let pleasure bring sorrows to drought
For thou makes world a great place to wander
Thyself seek something of new to resist
As thou miss wonders thy wish to insist

“Sun”
- Garcia, Charles
The sun is too bright
It helps us to see
To gather energy and vitamins
It helps also the animal
A plant that needs sun
And a full of water
Sunflower seeds and honey
The sun has a rainbow and beautiful skies
Animals are resting under the sun
The sun is alone but still shine
The grass are all around and its
So fresh
What a beautiful sun
We need to take care our surroundings
We just need to enjoy life and watch the sunset
We just need to keep our heads up

” Wish I Could Go Back...”
-Grey, Maria Samantha
Life in the past was so good How can we bring it back? But life was also hard like a wood All memories from the past are now pitch-black
Normal people with a normal life Good old days from the past Gone with a glimpse of an eye Life changes so fast
Unable to repeat our history All of it was done Our life can be a misery All happy days are gone
Focus with life today And cherish moments everyday

“Yesterday”
- Martinez, Ailish Nicole
All the broken memories of the past
Visits me through nightmare up to this day
Hoping that I’ll forget it all at last
Cause it haunts me like a strong wind at sway
The bygone days and the distance of time
Makes me want to hide deep in the darkness
Forgetting the past might seem like a crime
Remembering means drowning in sadness
Our past contributes to who we are now
Either a bad or a happy memory
One and the other strengthens us somehow
Yesterday is a part of our history
As time goes by, we must learn to accept
And fight for our sanity to be kept

“Impossible Me”
- Pamposa, Khianah Mae
Lies and deception make up the frame
Last in the devils illusion
Last within the pain all the same
Losing the thoughts with that on my perfection
How can it be mine?
The present things is what I got
Which is wholly thine
In which as fast as I got
All my past life is mine no more
Then talk not of inconsistancy
Who’s images are kept in store
This living minute true to thee
Distance teaches us to appreciate the things we do together
It is a reminder that we should cherish things forever

“Past”
- Pangan, Bernadette Mae
Shall I have to look back at my past self?
Thou past life is more like a living hell.
When there is no one but my empty self,
Asking myself “why am I in a cell?”
Past that takes a part of our peaceful life,
Grief, tears, anger and pain are being left.
It’s important as the edge of the knife,
And it is violence as the crime theft.
Thou past is not as bad as we think of,
It is a lesson that we have to learn.
Turning back just to shut ourselves to off,
Trial of our life that we have to earn.
Goodbyes from our painful part of our self,
Goodbyes to the silent night and cold night self.

“The Patriot”
-Busa, Jerry
I stand tall and proud
I will defend our way of life,
I'll bring the fight to your home
To keep you out of mine
I will serve my country,
my native land,
home of my race,
embrace me and helps me
To be strong and hardworking noble
It is my duty and my call
I will serve no matter what the risk of crisis great or small
I will lend my life for all

“Hello Future”
-Caasi, Zallyn
With the fleeting sands of time I try to grasp the future
Like the tall valleys that engulf the scenery— daunting, it makes me wary
Am I to achieve such an ambition I established myself sooner?
If not, how can a dreamer catch up to the ideals, set for a future?
Beyond the depths of the valleys lay the answers to the questions that I left to ponder
The foot part arises, is this it?
Various behavior pattern of the past emerges with the modern society I am to see fit
It leads to guys how to function
Alas, an answer

“Nothing Visible”
-De Guzman, Louisa
An entangling night bathe in wary
Where dreams are blurry.
Afraid to crack that line and bury
That unpuzzles each piece of tapestry.
What glass could be filled
If everything splashed and spilled.
Strangled into the vault of future
That I might be untitled.
Knees kneeled down on Rockland,
Waiting and hunting for every mirror.
Scared to have no reason
If the world I pictured will someday be withered.
No one told me that getting older
Makes you feel shattered invisibly,
Being unfamiliar with the realm of capacity
That makes you lose the time for validity.

“What’s Next”
-Fenderson, Curtis
Will I be ready for the future and am I gonna succeed In everything?
Feel very pressured and won’t stop worrying about what’s next
I feel so scared everything will everything be okay in the future.
Feels like I’ve been knocked out by a rock.
Overthinking won’t stop it’s stuck in my mind.
I know one day ill make it
The future is scary
It is what it is
My future will wait
For me
