Every year I tell myself I'm going to do whumptober, and every year I never do. But THIS year I have two new blorbos to torment and two new fandoms that lend themselves better to whump scenarios than my mains in the past. So maybe 2025 is my year?

Love love love characters that present themselves as emotionally open social butterflies but the more you see of them the more obvious it is that they’re the most closed off fuckers in the story. Sure, they want to help you with your personal problems and messy emotions, but if you turn that shit back on them, they’ll shut down or deflect every time. Why are you sticking your nose in their business anyway? It’s not like it matters. They’re not a person, they’re just a role being played. They’re the guy who fixes things and saves people. Please ignore the man behind the mask, he’s fine. Everything’s fine.

Well, it's a good thing several of the mods are dog people and support your wolves, because we all spent three long hours today on a cross-timezone conference call working on the prompts list! ok this is just out of curiosity,

Personally, I like to give him black hair.

In medlit, the only concrete example I can think of that gives him a definitive hair color is Vulgate, which describes him as a handsome young man with blonde hair.

But other than that, I found that it's pretty varied in both retellings and film/TV. I've seen him depicted with black hair, blonde, or brown hair a lot of the time.
