why can parrots learn to talk but dogs cant?

Hi little learners!

Turn on your listening ears and put your thinking caps on! Today we are talking about why some animals like parrots can learn how to talk but lots of animals, like dogs cant.

There are many reasons for this, one of which being our bodies. To speak like a human you need to have good control over your tongue, vocal cords, breathing and mouth. Many animals don't have these features meaning they cant say words. Humans also have bigger parts of the brain that process and make communication. Birds don't actually have brains like humans and can only mimic what humans say. But they don't actually understand what they are saying!

Many animals like dogs, cats, primates and more do understand us! Many primates have been taught to use sign language to communicate. There are even buttons where you can record words on them and your pets can press them. This helps the puppies and kittens ask for things like treats, a cuddle, a play outside or just to say hi! This means that some animals that cant use their words like a person can still talk and tell us what they need. Isn't that so cool? Animals have secret languages that only they can understand. But some very smart humans are trying to understand. That's why animals make sounds like woof, they are having their own conversations! Thank you for coming to my class, I hope you have a good day. Padded regressors, you are just as pure and innocent as regressors who don't use diaps. You'll always be welcome on my blog.

While we're at it, I also completely accept any shape and size and ability of regressors: regressors who wear diaps, who need help going potty or taking showers, who can't walk, who need mobility aids, who have speech impairments or difficulties talking, who need feeding tubes, urostromy pouches, external heart monitors, or any other kind of external disability aid- who need service dogs, or emotional support stuffies, who need braces or compression clothing, who stim loudly and unapologetically. Any and all regressors.

Don't let this blocklist blog slow you down. They don't have any valid 'proof' of you being gross, and anybody who follows their blocklist aren't people you want following you anyway.

Hi little learners!

This lovely little learner requested to learn about the sun, so that will be todays lesson. Let's turn our listening ears on and put on our thinking caps!

The earth stays with the sun because of gravity. Gravity is like an invisible string that pulls things together. That's why when you drop something, it falls to the ground! The sun has a lot of gravity that pulls the earth towards it, causing the earth to spin around the sun. The earth takes an entire year to go all the way around the sun one time!

The reason the sun shines all day but goes away at night time is because the earth is also spinning itself! The earth turns all day and when the sun is shining that part of the earth is facing the sun, and the other half of the earth isn't which is why sometimes its night for other little learners during your day time!
