I’ve been going to conventions for maybe...18 years (?) now, and never once stood in line for an autograph, but with the guest lineup at Summercon this year I decided to make some gift art for a few actors I appreciate 😊

As a late 80s baby I grew up solidly as a 90s kid and cartoons were a big part of that. I drew this for Richard Horvitz as a thank you for being a major character voice growing up and essentially “babysitting” us all vicariously through the TV 😂 I know Zim came later, but he seemed the funniest to put into the dumb scene I imagined for this piece of being subjected to the whims of a small child (complete with beautiful makeover, naturally).

Don't mind me, I'll just be over here distracting myself in some domestic headcanon brain rot for a moment. I love the idea/theme of Crowley preening Aziraphale's wings (after all, "...the wings of demons are the same as the wings of angels, although they're often better groomed")

Still being flaky on the prompts toward the end here, but couldn't resist tossing in a nod to the 2004 cinematic masterpiece, Van Helsing, with Hugh Jackman and Richard Roxburgh. 🐺🦇

I couldn't care less how camp this movie is, I still love it.

I got it in my head that I wanted to draw Aziraphale as some sort of squishy animal version for today's prompt, and while I've seen depictions of him as a cute bunny or dove, my brain was like: lol nah - fancy pigeon.

So I went down the rabbit hole of discovering all the various breeds of fancy pigeon and picking the most appropriate one for not only Aziraphale, but also Jim, Muriel, and Crowley. So that's going to happen. But for now enjoy frillback pigeon Aziraphale....a thing that exists and makes me uncomfortable to look at.
