yeah so this mini game jam i was mostly sketching and sculpting these characters i imagined during working through some psychosynthesis exercises =)
this is some lizardthing that lived on the ground floor and some pigthing that lived in the basement

also i destroyed my windows surface installation by interrupting the update ._.

Ruminus - The Continent of “Vilmmm”
(TW(?): Fantasy Brainstorm: Infertility(probably wrong word)/Handling of the dead(?))
i wrote some more into the Ruminus Wiki =)
I like to brainstorm with that and just write what comes to my mind and just go from there as if i am exploring the world and explaining myself how things work one at a time.
It’s probably not very fun to read, since it DOES sound more like a wiki explaining step by step why what is happening...
But here it goes!^^
it creates a plateau that is isolated from the rest of the world. the inhabitants don't know anything about what lies far below, since they haven't developed methods yet to climb down. The people who tried never returned. They were surprised by the storms and icecold weather in the clouds they had to cross. they slipped off and fell into the ocean. since they never learned how to swim, they drowned. they never learned how to swim since the upper island doesn't have any rivers or lakes. since they are above the clouds and it never rains there. they only eat fruit and vegetables that are collected by the people from the cliff near the clouds. there is the only place these grow since the seeds have been taken up by some birds and found some shelter in the cravices of the cliff. the people there also eat the birds, but it's rare to find them and even harder to catch them either in flight or rob the eggs from their nests in the crevices. they celebrate it then. but most of the time the people eat the vegetables and fruits. the people got used to having very dry air that is not very humid and are used to the high altitude. the continent got lifted up many many thousand years ago through an earthquake. people don't have record of it and alot of the landscape got altered and destroyed by this event, so it also reduced their numbers quite a bit. they dress themselves in feathers and grass. the houses they build are more lowered into the ground, since the sun is quite unforgiving. so they build tunnels and canals and ways to walk between the different "houses" to avoid the sun altogether. they live close to the cliff and some of the tunnels even exit close to the clouds, so that the hunters and gatherers have an easier time and don't need to traverse down the cliff first. they use climbing equipment made from bird bones and stones. they have claw like equipment sticking to their forearms and shins to navigate and climb on the cliffside. the extra hunting and gathering tunnels are forbidden for people who have nothing to do with that, since you need special training and the equipment to be save there. the hunting and the gathering tunnels separate. there is some sort of school room, but it's more like single people are talking to the elderly to fulfill a set of tasks and quests. (since they don't have many children at the same time, since they have quiet the high infertility rate due to the poor nutrition and lack of sunlight) unborn children get eaten and their bones are used to make more climbing equipment.

amg progress
today i made a new trello board for amg with the first steps already in place =)
i also installed unity 2018, updated github and set up the project on gitlab and checked in and stuff!^^
so i am ready to get started on programming tomorrow =D

also did some work on the mechanics intersection sheet for AMG
but i think this is getting somewhat out of hand and i am already getting some good ideas which mechanics intersect nicely from doing this =)
i think i might start programming the very basic mechanics/elements that are definitely gonna be in the game.
