[Stray's Log - Entry 9]

So it's been a hot minute since I've had spare time to update my log, things have been rather hectic during this mission.

I'm 90% certain things will be OK but that 10% is taunting me I swear.

Soul has been keeping track of how long we've been on mission, so far it's been about... 7 days according to the planet's local time. That's kind of scary to think about...

Today I was woken up to a few notifications on my console, we have another mission folks. It appears to to be some kind of bait and switch style thing.

Unsure on the full details but I'm ready to fuckin party.

In other news, however, I went diving into the ship's underbelly, and I now have a little pet krait... well, not really little. He's the size of a loaf of bread. I've named him Ivan, and he is the friendliest little guy I've ever done seen

Soul has been humming to herself again, I don't know the exact piece, but she is always fond of the old classical songs from way far back in the past. It's nice to hear her enjoy herself though.

In other news, the rest of F9 squad have been doing some team exercises, so far it's been pretty fun hanging out with these people. Definitely way better than the quietness of Helios... I do miss it though.

I guess that's all for today, I'm gonna go do some more detailing on Wanderer, seeya.

[Stray's Log - Entry 6]

We've had some off time since our first assignment, I figured I could do with some more training, so I've just been running the sims.

The scenarios are interesting to run, but my personal favorites are the speed courses and silent missions. Ziz, unsurprisingly, has a faster time than I do on most of the speed courses, but I hope to pass his time soon. The stealth is definitely a bit more my style for sure.

Anywho, it's about time for lunch, so I'll be heading off

So, we got back from our first mission relatively unscathed, had a tussle about midway through but everything came up good

I'm not gonna go into too much detail about our excursions without permission from the higher-ups, sorry folks

The squad worked pretty well together in actual combat, so that was nice. Wanderer got some scrapes here and there... Soul was... not the happiest as one could guess.

Other than that not much to update on, I'm gonna probably get some rest.

[Stray's Log - Campaign Entry 1]

We got our mission briefing, and we're told to meet up at the hangar to head out for our objective.

I decided to have some fun and challenged Ziz to a foot race to said hangars, I tripped him with my prosthesis and won. Yes, I played dirty, but a win is a win.

Soul told me to apologize, so I did.

[Stray's Log - Entry 4]

Big news!!! We just got our first assignment! I can’t believe it—it’s actually happening. I'm not at liberty to discuss the details according to our superiors, BUT I can say it's gonna be cold as heck planetside.

I'm super nervous and have been calming down with Soul. She's been a great help for as long as I've had her, and I couldn't ask for a better friend.

I've run through the simulators many times, but this is gonna be my first actual mission... maybe i need to go on a quick lap around the ship to calm down, I'll go check up on Wanderer to make sure it's in tip-top shape before we depart.

[Stray's Log - Entry 3]

I couldn't make an entry yesterday because it was orientation day. What a whirlwind! Meeting everyone, getting the rundown of the Sylvia's Requiem, and learning the ropes—it was intense. The ship is even more impressive than I imagined. It’s massive, and the tech here is top-notch.

Unfortunately, my free time might be cut short for a little bit, so Log Entries may be a bit more... sporadic. On the plus side, the crew quarters are huge compared to home, AND I got a fancy new set of tools to do maintenance on my leg, so that's another plus.

I’m still feeling those rookie nerves, but everyone’s been really welcoming. I’ve got a ton to learn, but I’m ready for it. Tomorrow, I start my first training exercises with the team. I just hope I can keep up and show that I belong here. It’s daunting, but I’m excited. This is what I’ve been working toward. Time to make it count.

[Stray's Log - Entry 2]

Update:

I’m currently on the transfer ship now, heading to The Sylvia's Requiem. It’s finally happening, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous. My hands are shaking a bit, and my stomach is doing flips. I’ve trained for this moment for so long, but now that it’s here, it feels surreal.

We 've been told it may take a while to reach the quadrant of which the ship is located, which isn't too bad since the seats we have are rather comfy, I could probably fall asleep if I actually tried to.

The other pilots look so confident and seasoned. I feel like such a rookie next to them. I keep reminding myself that I earned my spot here. I just hope I can prove myself and make Nathan proud. For now, I’m trying to focus on the excitement and the adventure that lies ahead. Next stop: The Sylvia's Requiem!

[Stray's Log - Entry 1]

Holy shit I can't believe it—I finally got the notice! I'm officially joining the Corsair Mercenary Company! This is the break I've been waiting for. All those hours in the simulators, all the training—it’s finally paying off. I’m so excited I can hardly sit still!

I've got a million things to do before I ship off to The Sylvia's Requiem. I need to pack my gear, make sure Wanderer is prepped, and say my goodbyes. This is it, the start of my journey as a real Lancer. I can’t wait to see what adventures await with Corsair. Time to get moving!
