this doesnt seem like a popular opinion on here but sometimes i like when characters die. sometimes its needed to raise the stakes and sometimes its the end best befitting of the character and sometimes its needed to move the narrative forward and sometimes its the only way a character would believably leave their story behind and sometimes it just spices things up a bit. sometimes its fun to watch characters die . sorry

Well, now I’m curious to know what your asoiaf fic recs are, dearest wife 👀

Also, what type of asoiaf fics do you gravitate toward (fix-it fics, AUs, original characters, etc.?)

Beneath the waves by starforged on ao3 is my absolute favorite asoiaf fic in existence, I think, but it is not complete and hasn’t been updated since 2020 so 🫠 also a most suitable marriage by prettypoppy is top tier!! 🤍

I love a good fix it fic especially when it comes to the show lore. At one point I contemplated writing one myself. Sansa/Theon has my heart, but Sansa/Tyrion creeps in 👀🫣 I haven’t read the series in a hot minute but literally anything to do with book Robb, the sweet bean who just tried his best and deserved sm better 🥺😭
